The Invest Puerto Rico organization announced a new campaign that seeks to attract businesses and investors from various cities in the United States such as New York, Boston and San Francisco, especially Silicon Valley.

The campaign, which has an investment of $ 4.7 million, is financed with CDBG-DR recovery funds that the organization received and they hope that in the short term the commitment for 6,000 jobs and a capital investment of $ 320 million will be achieved, explained Rodrick Miller , chief executive officer of the organization.

“It is not about hunting. It’s really about creating a long-term symbiotic relationship where business flows in both directions because this is how an economy grows ”, said Miller, who also argued that the main fruits of these efforts are not going to come in the short term but rather in three to five years….
