Faith Organization On-the-Ground Prayer Efforts for SCOTUS Dobbs Case
(Washington, DC—November 22, 2021) Intercessors for America—a national grassroots organization uniting 300,000 citizens to pray and take action on the key issues confronting America—is announcing its Appealing for Life Event, coinciding with the Supreme Court hearing oral arguments in the pro-life case Dobbs v. Jacksons Women’s Health Group on December 1st.
The multi-day event starts with IFA’s Reception for Life dinner on November 30th where select pro-life leaders will be honored for their work, including MS Attorney General Lynn Fitch, MS Gov. Phil Bryant, and President Donald J. Trump. The events will also include a prayer walk around the US Supreme Court while oral arguments in Dobbs v. Jacksons Women’s Health Group are being heard.

- Dobbs v. Jacksons Women’s Health Group is a case before the U.S. Supreme Court that centers around a Mississippi law banning abortion after 15 weeks gestation.
- Dobbs v. Jacksons Women’s Health Group is considered by both pro-life and pro-abortion groups as a landmark challenge to Roe v. Wade, and the rights of states to set their own laws regarding abortion.
- Intercessors for America has filed an amicus brief with the U.S. Supreme Court in support of the Mississippi pro-life law that is at the core of the Dobbs v. Jackson’s Women’s Health Group case.
- In addition to the Appealing for Life Event, IFA launched the 50 Days for Life campaign in October, designating citizens of one state each day to pray for the Dobbs v. Jacksons Women’s Health Group case and for God’s favor in the outcome.
