Even though Catholics do believe the pope is a final authority on their religion, unlike people of other “organized” faiths…Catholics have this marvelous little theological technicality…It is that every…thing the pope…says does not define church doctrine.
Only under…carefully defined circumstances do even the pope’s utterances become Catholic religious law, and the pope almost never employs this authority. And…[Pope] Francis has not required COVID vaccination of Catholics. So not only is Hochul completely ignorant of one of the basic tenets of an important religion…she is also breathtakingly arrogant to claim that her political opinions…trump every…New Yorker’s…conscience on this…matter…

It is an old truism that one’s god is what one most loves and fears. For COVID cultists, their love and their fear are…Physical suffering and death.
This is why there’s a correlation between the strength of a person’s Christianity and his lack of fear of COVID: Because Christians do not ultimately most revere suffering or death. Better, as Jesus Christ says…to “fear him who can destroy both soul and body in hell”…
For pagans, however, this present world is all they have…
The emergence of COVID has brought pagans’ refusal to consider their immortality right in front of their eyes every waking moment…
So they invent rituals. Wear talismans…And try to compel the rest of us to join their cult…
It’s clearly a religious ritual to believe that the evil death god won’t come near only if you are engaged in morally significant mass actions, while he will swoop down suddenly if you are engaged in an immoral act like living without demonstrating your great fear of and respect for him or openly rejecting his commands. If the evil spirit theoretically goes away when you engage in sacred rituals like wearing ceremonial face decorations, despite the lack of strong objective evidence…you are in a cult. Or a false religion.
You are also in a cult when there is nothing anyone can say or demonstrate that could possibly change your mind…Being impervious to data and reason is a hallmark of the psychological capture on which cults feed.
You are in a cult or an overweening religion when you use or support the use of manipulation, pressure, and fear…to get people to obey you instead of allowing them the freedom to make up their own minds…
Another endemic tactic to cults and other kinds of power relationships is scapegoating…

This governor sounds like she has a Hitler complex over New Yorkers. She is NOT New Yorkers’ GOD, apostle, dictator, etc. She needs to be apostle over the rising crime crises in New York! Could she be much worse than Cuomo? GOD forbid! FATHER GOD YOUR WORD says that YOU have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind. I bind that spirit of fear that is gone out over the whole world over this planned disease; (Look up Event 201) and I loose the Anointing of the HOLY SPIRIT over the whole world in JESUS Name. FATHER GOD let the covid disease planners fall into their own trap that they have set for the people of the world. Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them. Fear, from day one, has been completely out of control! There are people I would have NEVER have dreamed of, filled with fear! People have turned against their parents, grandparents, friends, etc., because of fear of Covid! Time will show, that this has been the BIGGEST LIE ever perpetrated on a nation, a world! It is driving us into tyranny, totalitarianism, Marxism, Socialism! All started by a Covid cult fear!
The people behind this have been waiting, planning this, for a LONG time!
However, NEVER did I think the medical community would react as many have! Good, decent, very intelligent, doctors have been ostracized if they tell the truth about Covid! Successful treatment for Covid is lied about and kept FROM the public, which is unbelievable! Then there are doctors, who push the Covid shot and won’t see you unless you get it!! I NEVER thought I would see that! Fauci, who has never treated anyone, and who has nefarious reasons for pushing Covid, on a daily basis, is trusted by way too many. Evidence, facts, about him, show he is not to be trusted, at all!
I also cannot understand why our pulpits are so silent! Pastors are fearful, afraid of being cancelled, afraid to stand for what they KNOW is the truth. There is a spirit of fear that is palpable! This should not be! If they, and we, don’t stand up and speak the truth, who will?? We actually have ministers who are encouraging people to get the Covid shot and even shaming people , if they don’t! Shame on them!
I, like many others, keep waiting for people to come to their senses. To me, the deception is so obvious, it’s so devious! (“My people perish for lack of knowledge”)
Father, open the eyes of Your people’s understanding. Let them see Your truth. Reveal the lies, the deception, that ungodly people have loosed on this nation and the world. Father, we need Your mercy, we need for Your truth to prevail. We acknowledge Your sovereignty and KNOW that YOU ARE IN CONTROL!! Your Word says “call unto me and I will show you great and mighty things you don’t know about.” Forgive us, Father for taking all that You gave us for granted. Your Word says Your mercies are new every morning, great is Your faithfulness!
I agree! Well said. It is hard to understand how Christians, who know better, fall for this. I know Christians whom I respect highly that have been vaccinated. Some are leadership and one is a Pastor. It is hard to comprehend why they agreed to it. They have taken vaccines their whole lives. Have been told they have stopped other diseases, such as small pox. The media is causing many who speak out to be erased off the internet. The conservative voice is being blocked to so many! If they just watch TV with regular news, they are being lied to. Not just the media, doctors etc. I keep with God knows the heart. He sees what we cannot. I believe sincere believers have been duped. I believe the lies are not being exposed to the average public. I believe that on the right we need to unify and to agree on essentials- The Apostolic Creed. On non-essentials grace. We are past the point where we argue doctrine that doesn’t impact salvation. We must be purified. When the church is purified, it grows rapidly. I think of Jesus not being able to heal in His hometown. The unbelief of many held back Jesus’s power. The fence sitters need to make a decision. Only when sin and doubt are cleared out will the church start to become a light on a hill again. Oh
Jesus, purify us Your Church and unify us so we will be seen and Your glory and power will abound.
God help us! We serve a great God, a Big God who is way bigger than covid! I pray the eyes are opened to the shot and all it entails. Truth is truth. No government is higher than God’s rule. Our bodies were made in the image of God. We have a healthy immune system that far outweighs what society dictates as necessary. This woman is wrong in her attempt to twist arms and say she is above and the final authority. We have rights. I pray for this nation to hear the voice of God and silence the voice of the enemy in Jesus name. God is Supreme and He is on His throne! May the scale drop off the hearts and eyes of those who are following along like sheep to a slaughter.
