Despite claims to the contrary, Americans largely support the Texas Heartbeat Act banning abortion after a heartbeat can be detected at approximately six weeks gestation.
A new Rasmussen poll in which likely voters were asked, “The Supreme Court has refused to block a new Texas law that effectively prohibits most abortions after six weeks of pregnancy. Do you support or oppose the Texas law?” found that 46% of respondents…agreed with the Texas law, while 43% opposed it.
The abortion industry has been frantically peddling desperate myths about the Texas Heartbeat Act, claiming that most Americans are outraged by it…claiming that there is no…heartbeat at six weeks gestation (…heart begins to beat approximately three weeks after fertilization)….
“It’s not controversial: Abortion is safe, essential health care,” the tweet read. “80% of Americans support the right to abortion…”
While abortion advocates consistently claim that abortion enjoys widespread…support, the reality is…more nuanced…Polling has repeatedly found that Americans want abortion to be legal, but heavily restricted, usually to the first trimester.
Live Action founder and president Lila Rose responded to the news on Twitter, urging pro-lifers not to let the abortion industry control the media narrative…America is trending pro-life!”…
Meanwhile, the science of prenatal development only further erodes support for abortion…Even in the first trimester, the preborn child is a living human being…
It’s no surprise that Americans aren’t comfortable with a procedure that stops a beating heart, and deliberately takes a human life…

In His infinite Love and Mercy, God allowed humans to take part in creation; each child born is a small miracle. We forget how precious a new birth is, unless it is ours, but each person born, is made in the image of God with potential to do wonderful things in this world. Maybe one of the babies that was aborted, could have eradicated cancer, or aids or prevented a number of the evil things going on in this world. We do not have the right to take these lives, and they start at conception. WE THANK THE LORD FOR ALL THOSE AROUND THIS COUNTRY WHO FIGHT FOR THE UNBORN, WHO HAVE NO OTHER DEFENDERS BUT US. WE PRAY FOR MORE AND MORE PEOPLE TO DEFEND THE LIVES OF THE UNBORN. THANK YOU LORD FOR LETTING US PARTICIPATE IN CREATION.
