I Prayed have prayed
Lord, Your thoughts are not our thoughts; Your ways are not our ways. Thank You that You know what is best and You do what only You can do in Your way and in Your time. Increase our faith. Lord we believe, help our unbelief.

This week we celebrate Christmas.  For those of us who belong to God, we celebrate Christ.  He is the greatest Gift of all time.

This Christmas will be unlike any other Christmas in my lifetime.  So much has changed this year.  Many things have turned out differently than I thought they would.  Some of the things I have witnessed did not happen in the way or the timing I had hoped.  Had I been God, I would have certainly done things a different way. How about you?

But, let’s think about a couple things.  First of all, let’s look at when the Christ we celebrate this season first came into this earth.

He was not born in a castle.  Nor in a mansion owned by royalty.  He wasn’t assisted by the best midwife of their time.  No, He was born in a humble manger, with just His immediate family present.  There was no great celebration – no grand parade announcing the King of kings had arrived.  His meager beginning was much different than we would have supposed for the Son of God.

Yet, the wise knew Him.  They knew exactly where to find Him.  They were not confused, disappointed, or hindered by the way God brought His Son into the world. The wisdom of God, whom they served, showed them the way.

Now, fast forward to the day of His death.

The Son of the Living God was accused by the religious, judged harshly by those around Him, and sentenced without mercy.  Treated cruelly, He hung on a cross, in shame, for everyone to see.

This is not how I would have had things go had I been God.  However, it was what was necessary to bring forth what ONLY God knew had to come forth.  Freedom.  Complete and utter freedom.

This year, 2020, is much the same.  It too, is a wonderful gift from God.  The wise (in God) still see this truth.  Though everything around us has shaken, we have not been moved off His Word.  We continue to trust God and stand in faith – knowing His plan will come to pass.

It has not gone the way any of us expected.  Each time we thought breakthrough had come, another hindrance reared its ugly head.  On and on the battle went. Many could not understand.

“Why is God not doing something?”

“Is this the judgment of God for the Church?”

“We are doomed now.”

I have heard all these things this year.

I can imagine the disciples felt the very same way as they watched the most powerful man on earth hang on a cross to die.  They must have been disappointed beyond words.  But it wasn’t over.  It wasn’t over then, and it isn’t over now.  You see, it’s not over just because it doesn’t look like we think it should. Or when we think it should.

God has given us the wonderful gift of this year.  Yes, it has had its challenges, its disappointments, its fears.  It hasn’t looked like we thought it would look.  But only God knows what it will take to give us what we need for our country.  True freedom.  He will take this nation to the very brink if necessary, to give us what we have been crying out to Him for…will you continue to trust Him?

This week, we again celebrate Christmas. We celebrate Christ–the One who died to pay for our freedom – the One who redeemed us from sin and bondage.  May we continue to trust our all-knowing God and celebrate the gift He has brought us today, regardless of how it appears right now.

We will experience a nation turned back to God fully. A reestablishment of TRUE freedom in the USA – one nation UNDER GOD. Another wonderful gift from our God – who is faithful and cannot deny Himself or His Word.

How long, Lord? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and day after day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look on me and answer, Lord my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death,
and my enemy will say, “I have overcome him,”
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.

Everything points to “it cannot be done” or “it’s impossible” or “there’s too many corrupt people to overcome this”. I have thought that almost daily at times. God forgive my humanness and doubts.
Yet underneath all those darts of doubting is the still small voice that constantly echoes “I am God – is there anything that I cannot do”?
God is still on the throne. He is still in charge. It doesn’t matter what others say, what the media says or what the doubting Thomas’s speak. God is still the God of the impossible and of miracles that shake us to the core. Because if He wasn’t God Almighty, then the miracle of a Savior would be null and void. There would be no celebration of Christmas.
But the miracle of Christmas and the Christ child is here again and no amount of doubt can change that.
Ask God to let that sink deep into your soul. God’s truth is healing salve to the doubts that continue to plague mankind.

Amen and Amen! Lord You are enough. Lord You are Faithful, Trustworthy and Sovereign. Lamentations 3:21-26. (v 22) The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness….
Lord help our unbelief that rises up at times, where we are weak in faith be our strength, let us run this race with endurance, trusting You to work all things out for our good and Your Glory. May many lost souls, many deceived that are under Satan’s control profess Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and praise You with their heart, soul and mouth. Thank you for President Trump and Vice President Pence and their precious families. May they hear well done Thy good and faithful servants in their day of going to Glory. In faith I trust You to do miraculous things in he days ahead and Your will to be fulfilled and All praise will go to You and You alone. May we be humble in our deeds to know You equip your people to accomplish Your will to those whom obey. Thank you for 2020 and the stirring of our hearts to pray, fast, trust, obey and wait on You. Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me. In Jesus name. Amen

Dear Heavenly Father, I pray that these dark days will lead many to consider the true meaning of this sacred holiday. For so long we as a nation have forgotten the true reason for this season, commercializing it and slowly but surely secularizing it. Let us all reflect on the true reason for this season, and remember the birth, life, sacrifice, and resurrection of Your son, Jesus Christ. Lord, 2020 has been a dark passage indeed, and countless enemies have emerged from the darkness to confront us. Lord, let the light of Your Son dispel the darkness and scatter the wicked. Lord, expose the wicked and their plans for all the world to see, and lift the veil of lies from the eyes of the deceived. Lord, let this Christmas be a turning point. In Jesus precious name I pray, Dear Lord, Amen.
