I Prayed have prayed
Reading Time: 3 minutes

Repentance is a central part of a Christian life. Pray that our nation will have a heart to call upon the Lord in a spirit of true repentance.

“The LORD said to Moses: Say to the Israelites: On the first day of the seventh month, you will have a special rest, a holy occasion marked by a trumpet signal. You must not do any job-related work, and you must offer a food gift to the LORD.” (Lev 23:23-25)

Full White House text of remarks by President Donald Trump and Senior Advisor to the President Jared Kushner in a call to Jewish leaders, September 15, 2017:

  1. KUSHNER: Welcome, everybody, and thank you for joining us here today. This is the most special time of the year for the Jewish people. This Wednesday evening begins Rosh Hashanah, the first of 10 days of repentance, that concludes with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.

Since January 20, I have had the great honor of serving in President Trump’s administration. Anyone that knows the President understands that he takes great pride in having a Jewish daughter and Jewish grandchildren. His love and respect for the Jewish people extends way beyond his family, and into the heart of Jewish American communities.

Under the President’s leadership, America’s relationship with the State of Israel has never been stronger, and our country’s commitment to Israel’s security has never been greater.

It is my great honor to introduce the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.

THE PRESIDENT: Good morning, and thank you for joining this call.

To the many leaders, Rabbis, and Jewish friends who are on the line, I am delighted to speak with you and to wish you Shana Tova, a sweet New Year.

I send the Jewish community my warmest wishes as we approach the High Holy Days.

The Jewish tradition of making time and taking time each year to rededicate your lives to the sacred values you hold dear not only improves yourselves but strengthens our nation and inspires us all.

As we mark the beginning of the year 5,778 in the Jewish calendar, I want to express my deep admiration for the Jewish people. Throughout the centuries, the Jewish people have endured unthinkable persecution.

I know with us today on the call are several Holocaust survivors. We are honored beyond words by your presence. You have borne witness to evil beyond human comprehension, and your perseverance is a lasting inspiration to us all. By telling your stories, you help us to confront evil in our world and we are forever grateful.

I am proud to stand with the Jewish people and with our cherished friend and ally, the State of Israel. The Jewish State is a symbol of resilience in the face of oppression — it has persevered in the face of hostility, championed democracy in the face of violence, and succeeded in the face of very, very tall odds. The United States will always support Israel not only because of the vital security partnership between our two nations, but because of the shared values between our two peoples. And I can tell you on a personal basis, and I just left Israel recently, I love Israel.

That is why my administration has successfully pressured the United Nations to withdraw the unfair and biased report against Israel — that was a horrible thing that they did — and to instead focus on real threats to our security, such as Iran, Hezbollah, and ISIS.

This next New Year also offers a new opportunity to seek peace between the Israelis and Palestinians, and I am very hopeful that we will see significant progress before the end of the year. Ambassador David Friedman, Jared, Jason [Greenblatt], and the rest of my team are working very hard to achieve a peace agreement. I think it’s something that actually could happen.

I am grateful for the history, culture, and values the Jewish people have given to civilization. We forcefully condemn those who seek to incite anti-Semitism, or to spread any form of slander and hate — and I will ensure we protect Jewish communities, and all communities, that face threats to their safety.

I want to thank each of you for the ways in which you contribute to our nation. America is stronger because of the many Jewish Americans who bring such life, hope, and resilience to our nation.

Melania and I wish everyone a sweet, healthy, and peaceful New Year. Thank you very much. (By TOI Staff The Times of Israel)

{I am in complete agreement with the prayer and comments of Barbara Jackson and will pray this prayer when I regularly intercede for the Peace of Jerusalem. Her prayer is confirming what the Lord comments us to pray in His Holy Word. Therefore we have the assurance that He hears us and we know that He will bring it to pass! Hallelujah!

I pray that the Lord would be brought into every decision that PM Natanyahu makes, and that the Word of God would have the final say regarding who owns what land in Palestine. I Pray that our President would be the persuaded to understand this. We thank you dear Lord for both leaders and praise you for their true friendship. In Jesus name, Amen

Jeremiah 30:1-31:40 > The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord: “Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel: Write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you. For behold, days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord, and I will bring them back to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall take possession of it.” These are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah: “Thus says the Lord: We have heard a cry of panic, of terror, and no peace. … ( ESV ).

The Bible/Scripture/The WORD fulfilled in 1948. Thanks to the United States of America and the United Nations for standing and supporting upon an establishment of the State of Israel. Peace on the earth and goodwill to all nation. God will be the glory forever. Amen.

I am so thankful that we have President Trump who stands with Israel. I also believe President Trump believes in the only one true God and that is Yahweh our wonderful Adonai. I am a Messianic believer and know that Jesus (Yeshua) is our soon and coming King and He will rule and reign and all evil will be deafeated. The enemy (hasatan-satan) knows his time is short and he knows his fate. He is a liar and a deceiver. Continue to pray for our President and also for people to come to the knowledge of our Father in heaven by repenting (teshuva).

Praise God for the wonderful Jewish people, We Love you with all our hearts. In 2012 my wife and I visited Israel and traveled throughout the Holy Land that we love. We had an opportunity to travel by bus into the red zone and spend the night there. We experienced such a wonderful peace while traveling in Israel. We are now Pilgrims of Israel. We were so honored to have been allowed to visit the Holy Land and see the Bible come alive right before our eyes. All the Glory Be to our Great awesome Gd. EL Shaddi
Our hearts are with you during this special season.

Pray for shalom in Yerushalayim;
may those who love you prosper.
May shalom be within your ramparts,
prosperity in your palaces.

For the sake of my family and friends,
“I say Shalom be with you!”
For the sake of the house of Adonia our G-d,
I will seek your well-being.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth is Lord! Amen
Shalom…. Shalom….

What a beautiful declaration of love and support for Israel – the Jewish people who are our brothers and sisters. Happy New Year and may the God of Peace surround you! For decades America has reaped blessings for supporting Israel – God promises in Genesis 12:3 “I will bless those who bless you and curse those who curse you….” However, my concern/ fear for our Nation’s involvement in trying to divide Jerusalem is based on Zechariah 12:3 – 9: God promises that He has made Jerusalem a heavy stone and all who TRY to move (divide) it will injure themselves…I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.” For years America’s government leaders have unknowingly been on a direct collision course with God over trying to divide His covenant land – Israel. And America has reaped the consequences – the loss of lives and billions of dollars due to horrific catastrophic events. There is a book in my library which I frequently review entitled “Eye to Eye – Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel,” authored by a watchman name William Koenig. This book itemizes and documents 57 major catastrophic environmental events (earthquakes, hurricanes, fires, etc.) from the early ’90’s through 2005. These were recorded days after an attempt to negotiate a deal to divide Jerusalem. Based on Scriptures in Zechariah 12 and this book, I believe God does NOT want Jerusalem to be divided. That’s why every “peace talk/peace deal” has failed, and the U.S. has suffered grave consequences for trying. Finally, I strongly urge everyone to please read and study these Scriptures and also purchase and study this book. We do know that the only peace for the Middle East is Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. Consequently, please pray for the lives of people to be touched, in Jesus name. He desires that NONE perish for the lack of knowledge. AMEN
