Thousands To Converge on Washington Mall for ‘The Return’ on Sept. 26, Flanked by Prayer Inspired by Ancient ‘10 Days of Awe’
NEW YORK—As political discord and a pandemic threaten societies around the world, prayer movements are gaining momentum and some have united to shape a global Christian revival with Washington, D.C., at its epicenter.
Hundreds of thousands of Christians and more than 100 denominations of churches world-wide have committed themselves in prayer and collaboration leading up to “The Return: National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance.”
“The Return” (TheReturn.org) is set for 40 days before the presidential election, and on the 400th anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower, in the days of America’s founding and dedication to God. Surrounding the “The Day of Return” on Sept. 26 at the Washington Mall will be 10 days, known from ancient times as the Days of Awe, to be set as a special time of prayer and repentance on Sept. 18-28.
“10 Days” (10days.net), a movement of prayer, fasting, and repentance in love and unity based on the 10 Days of Awe, has been invited to collaborate with “The Return” as movement leaders call all peoples to turn from sin and humble themselves before God.
“We are in the midst of a multifaceted crisis right now, a crisis that no human being knows how to solve,” said “10 Days” leader Jonathan Friz. “An insoluble problem should lead us to self-reflection. What if instead of blaming one another, we took time to consider how our own actions and self-will have contributed to the current state of political division, racial strife, pestilence? What if instead of placing ourselves on a pedestal as judge, we would humble ourselves before the only Judge, and seek His mercy in a time of national and global calamity?”
Echoing Jesus’s prayer at the Last Supper that His followers would be unified, “The Return” and “10 Days” are pooling efforts to inspire believers everywhere to call on the name of the Lord as the only source of hope for their countries.

Ramping up to the September climax, “10 Days” is leading a three-pronged prayer strategy for “The Return” that includes personal intercession for movement leaders, weekly Zoom prayer calls, and a “Consecration Challenge” aimed at mobilizing 120,000 believers in dedicated prayer and fasting. Grant Berry and Jonathan Friz are working with “The Return” by leading the weekly global prayer intercession.
Coordinated events within “The Return” movement will also take place throughout America’s cities, towns, houses of worship and homes, as well as in multiple countries around the world, as many believe the nation has been given a critical window of opportunity to repent and return to God.

I would love to attend but am very concerned of people’s safety on account of the rioters and looters.
But then we should NOT cave in to fear. God has not given us a spirit of timidity and fear, but a spirit of boldness and courage. Father, may we not give in to fear and give us a courageous spirit. In Jesus” name, Amen.

God, help turn the tide in America from false teaching in education and the proliferation of communist and socialist ideas throughout universities and in classrooms for decades. Hitler said, “Give me your youth” and he turned them into fascists because of the vacuum from theological reductionism in the seminaries. Strengthen the church to not only pray, fast and attempt unity, but also speak the truth and cause our leaders to repent and stop the falsehood and false doctrine of revisionist history in Jesus’ Name.

There is a White House Siege to take place starting September 17 and run for 50 days. I am sure you have news of it. I believe there needs to be, those who can, out there before this siege starts to pray for it to fizzle or not take hold. We need worship leaders to lead worship. We need prayer walkers more than have been. Dutch Sheets, I believe, has a story about God leading him and his daughter to DC years ago. When he got there a few others had also been lead. They prayed. They didn’t know but that the Dali Lama was going to be there the next day, if I remember right, to send out 700 devils into Washington DC. He wasn’t able to, and he didn’t know God had sent Dutch the previous day. The Dali Lama left with his 700 devils.

I am part of a group of (7-15 people)prayer intercessors. Some of us pray together on zoom 5 days a week for an hour a day. I’m currently on a 40 day fast for personal & national purity.
Our prayer group will join the return and pray daily except Sundays from Dallas – prayer warriors from California Dallas and Oklahoma
Our Messianic church near Tampa is doing it’s annual 3-week Daniel Fast for Teshuvah.
We are doing the simulcast of The Return from 9am-9pm.
It’s a busy month with Rosh HaShanah [Jewish New Year] and Yom Kippur
[Day of Atonement]. That’s why we were told to fast the whole month this year.
Heavenly Father, In Jesus’ Name protect those who will be marching in Washington just as You protected the Israelites from Pharoah’army during the Exodus. Protect Franklin Graham, due to his prominence, seems he cold be at high risk for attack if not protected by police, etc.
I pray this revival will call down Your mercy and grace across our nation and the world.

The fact that this all coincides with the Jewish fall feast days is so exciting on so many levels. May His Name YEHOVAH be praised throughout all the earth.
Thank you Lord that many Christians are coming together in the heart of our nation to humble themselves and pray for: forgiveness, compassion, humility and restoration to a God fearing people lifting You up with prayers and praise on our lips.
I pray for a demonstration of your peace and unity during these 10 days of awe for it is You that is AWEsome and mighty to the breaking down of strongholds that the enemy has erected. This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

I’m praying that God deal with the hearts of His people to tend their hearts and not their garments humble them selves repent and seek Gods face to heal our land. God spoke that scripture to me way before this pandemic started I didn’t know what God was saying to me so I began to ask God what are you saying still didn’t understand until all this chaos started from the pandemic.

I believe that is part of the movement. My understanding is that Mr.Graham is leading the prayer walk along with other leaders and it has been coordinated to cover DC and America in prayer along with “the return”. No matter what, Christians from every walk of this life have opportunity to saturate our nation in prayer and fasting and repentance.
As I was praying this am for our nation, God Gave me Joshua 5:13-15. To me, He is saying the RETURN is holy ground.
May we all fall before the Lord in awe and humility during this set apart time. This is God’s call to the church in the USA.

The psalm begins with “God arise with awesome power, and Your enemies will scatter in fear!”
I believe the “Return” will cause a shift in the heavenly places where the rulers of darkness and the prince of the power of the air over Washington DC will be scattered. I am “seeing” something similar to what Joshua was seeing in his first battle of such huge proportions-
God is for Himself and His
purposes ; He gives help to His people as they seek His face and He does cause HIS enemies to be scattered.
May we ALL come to repentance during the RETURN!!!

I have already joined both events and I have mobilized believers in Tampa, Florida, Japan, Australia, Peru, Colombia and Panama. We will be praying for several cities in this countries and the countries themselves including USA
The week of Sept 18-28 is the week for us to fast & pray for nation. As I was looking at my calendar the eve of the 27th is Yom Kipper. I had to look up to see what Yom Kipper represents. It means the day of Atonement. If you don’t believe me please look it up.
It’s up to the church & pray with other denominations to our GOD! Asking forgiveness of our sins and of this beautiful majestic
Land. He will hear our voices He will Heal our/His LAND!!! BELIEVE & TRUST HIM! KEEP YOUR EYES UPON HIM. And watch what He Will Do!!! GOD says,”I Am the GREAT I AM”
The church should celebrate the Lord’s Feasts:
“In court they will act as judges. When they judge, they will follow my teachings. They must obey my laws and my rules at all my special feasts and keep my Sabbaths holy.” Ezekiel 44:24
What blessings He gives for obedience!

Under the direction of the Lord, I am gathering at least one church from all 50 states to pray on Oct. 3rd. There are seven prayer points. God is moving on believers to pray like never before in my 60 years of life. He has a plan for our nation!
