During this unprecedented time, leaders from more than ten thousand churches across America are worried their church might not make it through the COVID-19 pandemic. Resources such as the CARES Act are being exhausted or will not reach immigrant and urban communities in time. The need to help these churches is urgent.

In response to this need, the Pulse team is partnering with the AND Campaign, ReachRecords, and dozens of other organizations to plan a benefit simulcast on May 15 which will raise money and awareness for a campaign called Churches Helping Churches. Through this campaign, 100% of the proceeds will go to churches who are the most at risk.

This COVID-19 Church Relief Fund is being administered by the National Christian Foundation, which is distributing $3,000 grants, as funds are available. However, more than one thousand churches have requested aid, bringing the total to $2.7 million and growing. You can access the giving page by clicking here.

Now is the time for the church to come together to meet this urgent need. As Scripture tells us, “Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers” (Galatians 6:10)

Lord Thy will be done over the financial needs of struggling churches. Lord bless those churches that teach The Gospel message, that teach sound Biblical truths of Your Word in context. Lord we pray for repentance and revival in our Churches and healing from false practices and false teaching. Thank You Lord. In Jesus name I ask.

I have some misgivings about this. I hope everyone has been continuing to financially support their church if you are able. As for other churches, we don’t know if they should ever reopen. Only give where you are confident God would want you to.

This is a matter for serious consideration and prayer.
Some churches need to close.
Some churches are not teaching the Word of GOD nor the whole counsel of GOD.
Some churches have no prayer meetings even though Our LORD said, “My House shall be called a House of Prayer.”
Scriptures teach in Revelation that GOD removes their candlestick.
GOD is faithful to meet the genuine needs of all of HIS children.
Jesus said, “I shall build My Church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it.”
We need to be very prayerful, and careful who we support.
GOD forbid that we help those churches who may be enemies of the Cross of Christ who teach error and lead HIS lambs astray.

What kind of help?

Financial help I am sure. With layoffs, etc., congregants cannot give and the churches have expenses in just keeping their building.
