I Prayed have prayed
Lord Jesus, we cast all our cares on You, for You love us.
Reading Time: 2 minutes
  • State and local governments clamp down on citizens to promote safety. Protests erupt in Michigan. Pray for wise and measured response to the COVID-19 crisis. Pray for leaders to seek the wisdom of God and not use this crisis as a means of chilling constitutional rights and promoting governmental excess.
  • President Trump is weighing the options and avenues of opening up the economy. Pray for President Trump and his team as they determine the best course forward in returning to normal.
  • Families dive into distance learning with schoolchildren facing challenges like hackers inserting porn in classroom Google meets and Zoom meetings, students with no access to the internet, the difficulties of grading and ensuring honest work, and more. Pray for everyone connected with the school systems across the country trying to accomplish this new and daunting task. Pray especially for working parents who cannot work from home and students who are in dangerous circumstances at home.
  • Pray for ethical scientific advances for treatment and vaccines. New concerns are raised almost daily about the development of vaccines and the pressure to mandate vaccines. Continue to pray about the research and development daily.
  • Pray about the impact of COVID-19 on our economy. Pray for wise stewardship and leadership of our economy. Pray also for the many people impacted by the economic aspect of the crisis–workers, business owners, landlords, farmers–the list goes on and on.
  • Pray for healthcare workers across the country and in your community. Pray for freedom from fear and anxiety, for protection, and for encouragement.
  • Pray for the Gospel to be preached far and wide by all Christians during this time, in words and in deeds.
  • Pray for our leaders. President Trump, Vice President Pence, Coronavirus Task Force members: Dr. Deborah Birx, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Surgeon General Jerome Adams, HHS Secretary Alex Azar, Ken Cuccinelli, CDC Director Robert Redfield, and Centers for Medicaid Services Administrator Seema Verma.

Please click I PRAYED after you pray–it is an encouragement to all of us.

“He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” (John 14:21)

Intensity of prayer is no criterion of its effectiveness. A man may throw himself on his face and sob out his troubles to the Lord and yet have no intention to obey the commandments of Christ.
