The National Right to Life Committee released its annual abortion statistics. They survey the two compilers of abortion data, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the Guttmacher Institute (the research arm of Planned Parenthood).

PRAY FOR LIFE WITH IFA AND KEY PRO-LIFE LEADERS!

Since 1973 and the ruling in Roe v. Wade, an estimated 61, 628, 584 abortions have been performed in the United States. More than 61 million. This number is staggering and chilling.

There is some good news. Both the CDC and Guttmacher report both new significant decreases and declines over the last 25 years. Some of these are a drop in the annual number of total abortions and a lower overall abortion rate (less than half what it was in 1981). Guttmacher also reports a significant decrease in the number of abortion providers, from the high of 2918 in 1982 to 1587 in 2017.

“Most of the reduction in abortions seen between 2008 and 2017 occurred in facilities performing a thousand or more abortions a year. A loss of 122 such facilities from 2008 to 2017 was accompanied by a decline of 346,280 abortions, virtually all of the drop between these years.”

Praying for life is embedded in the DNA of Intercessors for America. We were founded in 1973 as a response to Roe v. Wade. Pro-life leaders are in agreement–2020 will be a watershed year for life in America. We want you to pray with us and in agreement with pro-life leaders. We have published a new email devotional series designed to share with you the prayer insight of key pro-life leaders.

The first email will be sent on January 19, 2020, Sanctity of Human Life Sunday. Seven emails will lead you in prayer on each day of this vital week, including the anniversary of Roe v. Wade and the National March for Life. Sign up now!

thank you Nathan, i was thinking this was calculated in error for the same reasons. I will remember the ‘one in four’.

Lord God, we ask you to forgive our nation. We ask you to forgive Protestants who for decades have said no to you in regard to having the 3rd or 4th, or 5th child you would have sent them. Not only did this make most of the Church deaf and blind regarding the threat of Nationalized Abortion, but we have aborted our leaders also. Lord God, heal, LOrd God, save. I thank you Lord for your mercy, please close forever this “Pandora’s Box”, dear Lord, and heal us. In Jesus name, Amen

Though the odds seem to be 1million to one God will prevail in this genocide. There are a million gentiles for every one Jew that was lost in the holocost . I think it’s prophetic . And will show the works just who God is 🙌🏻

25% of the young population does not exist today because either they, or their “would be” parents, were aborted in the last 50 years. America has 329 million people, if 25% of those 60 million had one kid (conservative estimate,) that is 85 million people who should exist but do not.

Literally one out of every four people in a young person’s entire life that they should know, they will never meet. Our country will probably never fully recover from this evil. Think of all the people, friends, romances, etc. that you and your loved ones will never know because of abortion. It boggles the mind to consider how much this evil has already altered the course of human history.

To support a First World child through 18, it takes thirty times the resources vs third world children. I simply don’t understand how this is a good thing.

And what if the mother’s current kids exist because she had an abortion earlier?

My heart breaks for these women. Lord, please heal them and let the women who are even thinking about turn back and run out or away from this evil.

I just found my baby girl who I have up for adoption 45 years ago. We celebrated her birthday together! We talk and text every day! God has honored my prayer!

I found my adopted brother after 39 years. He was glad to hear my mom did not want to give him up, but wanted him to have a better life as she had to leave our father bc he was going to kill us all and she had 6 kids and was pregnant with my brother.

God closed a chapter in our lives.
