I Prayed have prayed
Lord, we pray that our government leaders would be faithful stewards of our tax dollars.

Senator Rand Paul’s Fall 2019 Waste Report is out and the staggering total of waste recorded is $230,672,881. The very readable report includes stunning taxpayer expenses such as half a million to maintain a single self-cleaning toilet at one Metro station outside D.C., about $700,000 for research involving nicotine-addicted Zebrafish, 4.6 million studying the connection between alcohol use and ER visits, funding of a Bob Dylan statue in Mozambique, and more. One of the biggest surprises is 16 million dollars toward improving education . . . in Egypt!

Pray for our leaders includes praying that they will be good stewards of our taxes. (Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found trustworthy. 1 Cor 4:2)

Sounds far too likely this is a continuation of the GAO of years gone by who discovered contractors were paid $500.00 for an ordinary household hammer.

Yes! And what about the $5 billion of American taxes paid by corrupt U.S. Intelligence agents to bring about regime change in Ukraine in the 2014 coup? Our money funded neo-Nazis to murder eastern Ukraine people who refused to go to war with Russia. God, please remember your widows and orphans.
