This week Iranian officials announced that they are continuing to violate the Obama-era nuclear deal, surpassing the limit on uranium enrichment. Speaking at the Christians United for Israel conference, Secretary of State Pompeo refused to be intimidated: “We’ve implemented the strongest pressure campaign in history against the Iranian regime, and we are not done.”

“Secretary of State Mike Pompeo on Thursday denounced Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps for its “attempt to harass” a British oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz, even as the IRGC and Iran’s foreign minister denied that the incident ever occurred.
Britain’s ministry of defense confirmed that three Iranian boats had on Wednesday “attempted to impede the passage” of the tanker, British Heritage, and that a Royal Navy frigate had intervened . . .
Territory authorities said earlier that, contrary to some claims, the supertanker was found to be laden to capacity with crude oil.
Iran’s foreign ministry has denied the ship was bound for Syria, but has not provided an alternative intended destination.
The BBC reports that the British government this week lifted the threat level facing British ships in the Persian Gulf to the highest level – “critical.”
The Strait of Hormuz lies between Iran and Oman, less than 30 miles wide at its narrowest point. It has two shipping lanes, one for tanker traffic in each direction, that are a mere two nautical miles across. The waters traversed are Iranian and Omani territory.
The U.S. is looking to bring together a coalition of countries to patrol the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab el Mandeb at the entrance to the Red Sea, and escort ships using the two narrow waterways, both crucial to world energy and commercial shipping.” (Excerpt from CNS News Now)

Father, I pray for Mike Pompeo and ask for Your protection over him and all who are working together with him. We plead the blood of Jesus Christ over each person who is dedicating their life to this delicate ministry. We pray for angelic protection to keep them safe from harm and every evil intent of the enemy. Lift them up so that they do not even dash their feet against any stone that is placed in their path, but raise them above every obstacle and intimidation. Fill them with words of wisdom that cannot be argued against. Keep these lights shining bright in the darkest parts of our world. Thank you for those whom You have placed in positions of leadership to carry out Your will and Your plans. We bless You and worship You as You continue to guide them day by day. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear Lord God Almighty thank You for everything. Thank You that we have some good leadership that stands up to bullies. Lord please do Your will in this situation. As tension with Iran increases at times may there be times when tension decreases. I believe You want peace for all concerned. Please Father God be the Bringer of peace throughout the world. Praise you, Father, for lifting Mike Pompeo to this position in our government, who looks to you for wisdom and power to keep America safe, to thwart harmful plans of other countries and subdue dictators and world leaders who desire to cause harm to Israel. Show Mike Pompeo favor in all his dealing with Iran. Let God arise in every meeting and let the enemy of your people be scattered, and their plans for evil defeated. We ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ.

I feel the same way and I think their first target would be Israel. Too bad people don’t see good news being reported. Maybe if it was, we could change the mindset of a nation.
I agree with Alan and Lord I pray for Mike Pompeo as he and President Trump stand firm in their actions and attitudes towards Iran and their blatant dismissive action of the prior agreement made concerning uranium limits.
