On this week’s Pray with America’s Leaders, IFA Chief Program Officer Kris Kubal warned intercessors about what she described as a coordinated plan to provoke a national crisis in the weeks after the Nov. 3 midterm elections. The plan is laid out in IFA’s new special report, “The Red Line.”

“Christians, you need to understand what is happening,” Kubal said.

Kubal was joined by IFA Regional Field Leader Lisa Townsend and IFA Georgia State Prayer Leader Elizabeth Ojutiku to walk through the report’s findings and how intercessors can respond in prayer.

What the Report Describes

According to Kubal, the report draws on thousands of transcripts and hundreds of recordings recently released on X by researcher Jennica Pounds, known online as DataRepublican, along with others who have been digging through online archives and recording meetings. Kubal said the material comes from inside a network of former USAID officials, retired national security leaders, and protest organizers.

“What they describe is not a protest movement,” Kubal said. “It is a plan to provoke a federal crisis after the midterms.”

As Kubal summarized the recordings, the strategy is to escalate clashes after the election and treat any use of the Insurrection Act as a trigger. If President Donald Trump invokes the act to restore order, or if governors refuse federal help, organizers would declare the federal government illegitimate and press to rewrite the Constitution. Kubal called this the “red line” that gives the report its name.

“It is basically a trap,” she said. “There is no win for the president.” If he does nothing, she argued, order collapses. If he acts lawfully, opponents will use his actions to call his administration illegitimate.

Kubal noted that the goal itself is no secret. “We don’t need to have a leak happen to know where they want to take us,” she said, pointing to the Democratic Socialists of America. The DSA’s new “Workers Deserve More” platform, released this summer, proposes drafting a new constitution that would abolish the Senate and replace the president and Supreme Court with leaders chosen by Congress, the Associated Press reported. Kubal said that kind of consolidation is exactly what America’s founders guarded against when they separated powers and built in checks and balances. In her view, they were divinely inspired to do so because God knows human nature.

What shocked her most, Kubal said, was not the agenda, but “how soon they were ready to pull the trigger.”

An Old Playbook, a Sovereign God

Ojutiku, who said she came from a nation that endured frequent military coups, called the strategy “an old playbook that the enemy has been using for centuries.” She pointed to the current unrest in Europe as evidence of how it works. She said the church has been weakened in places, including by liberation theology, which merges Marxism with faith. In her view, that weakness has made the Enemy think he has an opening.

But she reminded viewers of Elisha’s servant, who saw only the surrounding army until God opened his eyes to the heavenly host. She also cited Proverbs 26:27, which warns that whoever digs a pit will fall into it.

“This government is legitimate,” Ojutiku declared. “It has been from its foundation, and that foundation will not be overturned.”

Townsend thanked Kubal for bringing the plans to light and read Isaiah 43:13, which says that when God acts, no one can reverse it. She described this as a “Kairos moment” for the church. She said IFA’s efforts this year to rededicate the nation to God, in every state and at the U.S. Capitol, have laid a spiritual foundation for this battle.

Kubal agreed. She noted that when God moves powerfully, the Enemy often responds with a counterfeit to hijack what God is doing. “It’s not random,” she said of the timing.

Praying Without Fear

All three leaders stressed that intercessors must not give in to fear. “Our goal is not to cause fear, but to cause action and to put people on their knees,” Kubal said.

Ojutiku pointed to Isaiah 59:19: when the enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord lifts up a standard against him. Kubal explained that in ancient warfare, a standard was a banner raised over the battlefield to signal orders to the troops. In the same way, she said, intercessors don’t have to devise their own battle plans. They need to spend time with the Lord, hear His voice, and follow His direction.

Townsend urged intercessors to see themselves as spiritual gatekeepers over their states and the nation, using prayer and fasting as their weapons. She pointed to Esther as an example of how one person who believes God is with her can reverse an evil plan. Ojutiku encouraged viewers to study each piece of the armor of God in Ephesians 6 and put it on deliberately.

Kubal encouraged everyone to download IFA’s special report, study it with the Lord, and share it widely. She said the report will be updated as new information comes out.

Let’s pray that every plan to provoke chaos and overturn our constitutional order would be exposed and brought to nothing. Let’s pray for President Trump, governors, and law enforcement leaders that God would give them wisdom to keep the peace lawfully in the weeks ahead. Let’s pray that those involved in these schemes would repent, and that Americans would reject anyone who seeks to tear down the system of government God led our founders to establish. And let’s pray that intercessors across the nation would stand firm without fear, listening for the Lord’s direction.
