Operation Epic Fury is stirring up both the Left and Right when it comes to lies and deception. While there’s a long list to be dealt with, it’s important to dispel some of the most egregious lies, which are in fact leading to antisemitism in our nation.

Tucker’s Latest Lies

One of the biggest lies circulating about Operation Epic Fury is that the war against Iran is an unjustified, “Zionist War” with religious motives. A popular voice behind this deception is conservative commentator turned Israel-slanderer Tucker Carlson. His latest rant suggests that an orthodox Jewish sect known as Chabad-Lubavitch is responsible for the war in Iran. The reason for starting the conflict? According to Tucker, it’s all “to usher in the building of the Third Temple in Jerusalem.”

The New York Post explained that Tucker’s so-called evidence included, “images of arm patches worn by some soldiers depicting the Temple. And to him, the proof was clear and in plain site because he found it through a two-minute internet search. Perhaps a few extra minutes would have informed him that the patches are not related to Chabad. Perhaps a few more might have educated him about the true nature of Chabad.”

Antisemitism expert Olivier Melnick dispels this lie in a blogpost titled, Tucker is Running on the Fumes of His Conservative Reputation and the Occult. He points out, “there is nothing belligerent about Chabadniks; they are the opposite of warmongers. They usually are very community oriented, and focused on good deeds and outreach to bring Jewish people back to Hashem (God). Chabad has no interest in starting a war with anyone.”

Even more revealing is that Tucker’s comments are very similar to Russian mystic, occultist, and philosopher Alexander Dugin, often referred to as “Putin’s brain.” In reference to the Jews and Israel, Dugin has stated, “they have only one step left–to blow up the Al-Aqsa Mosque and proceed to the construction of the Third Temple. By the way, the Knesset has already allocated funds for research on the Temple Mount–everything is moving in this direction.” He stresses, “Zionism is Jewish Satanism, Satanism within Judaism, turning over all the basics. If in Judaism one has to wait for the coming of the Messiah, then in Zionism a Jew is already a god. Further- violations of the Talmudic commandments.”

On his own program, Tucker has stated that when it comes to “Christian Zionists,” he “dislikes them more than anybody,” insisting they have been “seized with some kind of brain virus,” that “offends him” as a “Christian.” Tucker colludes with those who deny Israel’s right to their God-given land, and insists that the Palestinians are the rightful owners.

Carlson has shown his true colors over the past two years by cozying up to openly antisemitic guests on his show such as Nick Fuentes. He has also aligned himself with pro-Qatari propaganda, historical revisionists, dictators, and those who sympathize with Islam.

It’s obvious that Tucker doesn’t understand the full context of the Bible, or God’s promises to Israel and the Jewish people. Olivier Melnick notes,Tucker constantly mixes ignorance, lies, and half- truths, then feeds them to a world no longer relying on facts. The vast majority of the people who appreciated Tucker when he upheld Judeo-Christian values, are somehow still defending this pseudo-conservative pundit, but how much longer will he fool them for?

Candace Owens Tells the Military to Resign

Another lie revolving around Operation Epic Fury is being propped up by anti-Israel influencer Candace Owens. Recently she went off the rails in a series of X posts where she told her followers to “resign from serving in the U.S. military amid the war in Iran.”

One post read, “Do not join or remain in the United States Military. Trump has betrayed America and expects you to die for Israel. There is no honor in being led by dishonorable men to your death.” Owens shared a post by Leftist Max Blumenthal of the Far-Left Gray Zone News who commented, “Former Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz declares that he won’t rule out American boots on the ground in Iran. Every US service member needs to see this to understand who’s calling the shots.”

Owens has peddled antisemitic tropes on her program such as proclaiming that the war in the Middle East is being fought on “behalf of satanic pedophiles.” Moreover, she insists that the Trump Administration is “jeopardizing national security to serve Israeli interests.”

Lies from The Protocols

The lies of Owens are not difficult to trace. In fact, many of her ideas resemble talking points from an old debunked, fabricated publication called The Protocols of the Elders of Zion, dating back to the early 1900’s. Its contents, which can be traced back to Russia, promote conspiracy theories about the Jews, alleging that as a people group, they have an insatiable thirst for global power. Each chapter of The Protocolsclaims to document the elders’ secret plans to control world politics, the economy, financial markets, media, education, and other parts of society to benefit the Jews. Other antisemitic lies include claims that Jews will destroy Christianity and all other world religions.” Additionally, The Protocols allege “that Jews will profit from keeping the world in a state of war.” Over time, the text of this publication has been modified to address current events, but it continues to circulate throughout the internet today.

Lies from The Protocols have mirrored Owen’s ideas that the nation of Israel was founded through pedophilia and have fueled her dangerous blood libels which accuse Israel of “drinking Christian blood,” as well as her assertion that Dr. Mengele’s Holocaust experiments were “bizarre propaganda.” She spreads this lie in spite of mountains of irrefutable evidence which document the atrocities of Nazi concentration camps.

Candace Owens is the queen of antisemitic propaganda. With antisemitic views like hers, it’s not surprising that she would tell the military to resign when it comes to defending Israel. It appears that Owens is nothing more than a mouthpiece for the oldest hatred in the world.

Critics of Operation Epic Fury Say Iran is Not a Threat

The third lie about Operation Epic Fury is the allegation that Iran is not an imminent threat to the United States and that pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby are the reasons behind the war in Iran.

Recently the director of the National Counterterrorism Center, Joe Kent, resigned and issued a statement (letter) which read, I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”

Kent cited a “misinformation campaign” directed by high-ranking Israeli officials who “sowed pro-war sentiments to encourage a war with Iran. This echo chamber was used to deceive you into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat the United States…this was a lie and is the same tactic the Israelis used to draw us into the disastrous Iraq war that cost our nation the lives of thousands of our best men and women.”

Fox News correspondent Jacqui Heinrich responded, “Senior admin official says Joe Kent was a ‘known leaker,’–and was cut out of POTUS intelligence briefings months ago. He has not been part of any Iran planning discussions or briefings at all. Official says also the White House told DNI Tulsi Gabbard that Kent should be fired for suspected leaks, but she never did.”

Leavitt Lays Out the Facts

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt set the record straight. “There are many false claims in this letter, but let me address one specifically: that ‘Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation.’ This is the same false claim that Democrats and some in the liberal media have been repeating over and over. As President Trump has clearly and explicitly stated, he had strong and compelling evidence that Iran was going to attack the United States first. This evidence was compiled from many sources and factors. President Trump would never make the decision to deploy military assets against a foreign adversary in a vacuum. Iran is the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism. The Iranian regime is evil. It proudly killed Americans, waged war against our country, and openly threatened us all the way up to the launch of Operation Epic Fury. Iran was aggressively expanding their short-range ballistic missiles to combine with their naval assets to give themselves immunity meaning they would have a degree of capabilities that would give them immunity to hold us and the rest of the world hostage. The regime aimed to use those ballistic missiles as a shield to continue achieving their ultimate goal–nuclear weapons…President Trump ultimately made the determination that a joint attack with Israel would greatly reduce the risk to American lives that would come from a first strike by the terrorist Iranian regime and address this imminent threat to America’s national security interests. All of this led to President Trump arriving at the determination that this military operation was necessary for U.S. national security, which is why he launched the massively successful Operation Epic Fury.”

Vocal critics point to the risks of Operation Epic Fury, but war is never without risks. The truth, however, is that doing nothing could result in “existential consequences” for America. Powerful, dangerous leaders in Iran have been eliminated and their capacity to terrorize the West has been severely degraded. In the past, presidents such as Barack Obama simply placated and propped up the ayatollahs through “diplomacy and appeasement,” as well as cushy deals.

All of these lies about Operation Epic Fury have one thing in common–they are meant to sow doubt and create great contention around securing the safety and protection of Israel. Whether it’s an angry political pundit who spews blood libels, or liberal news outlets that ignore the real and imminent threat of Islam, the sad fact is that many of these deceptions are causing antisemitism to flourish. How quickly the world forgets the horrors of the Holocaust as they cheer for terrorists instead of the true victims of hatred and violence.

The Bible tells us that Iran (Persia) is a real threat. While biblical scholars have different perspectives about the prophesied War of Gog and Magog, the majority teach that Iran will play a major role.

And I will turn you about and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you out, and all your army, horses, and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor…wielding swords. Persia, Cush, and Put are with them, all of them with shield and helmet, Ezekiel 38:4-5.

God, however, is in control, and He will be Israel’s greatest defender. In the meantime, lies will keep circulating, but intercessors will keep praying. Let’s pray for wisdom for our leaders and above all, pray for the peace of Jerusalem, and for the protection of Israel and America.

Lord Jesus, we ask for discernment as we filter through every statement and speculation made about Operation Epic Fury. We ask that Your Sovereign Hand would guide this operation and silence any lies that hinder Your purposes.

I have watched Tucker Carlson for years, and his love for Jesus is clearly evident over the last several years. Questioning the necessity of the Iranian war does not make one an anti-semite. Questioning an old testament eye for an eye response does not make one an anti-semite. Loving Jewish people but not supporting their terrible leadership, who operate with old testament mindsets because of their rejection of Jesus as Messiah, does not make anyone an anti-semite Blindly supporting people who love war is never a good idea. I know you wont post this because you now want to label me an anti-semite, which i am not.
