Amid rising tensions and divisions, the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center resigned earlier this week, posting on X about his disagreement with Operation Epic Fury. Director of National Intelligence has since responded, highlighting that the President, after viewing all available intelligence, determined that Iran was an “imminent threat.”

Director of National Intelligence (DNI) Tulsi Gabbard issued a statement on X hours after the Director of the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC) resigned over war with Iran.
Joe Kent posted on X that he was resigning from his situation effective immediately because he couldn’t support Trump’s conflict with Iran. Following the resignation, reports swirled on social media speculating about what led to Kent’s resignation.
Gabbard posted on X about the conflict, writing that her job is to present the president with all the best information to inform his decisions. Trump had decided that Iran posed “an imminent threat,” according to her statement.
Director Gabbard highlighted that President Trump was “overwhelmingly elected by the American people,” and that it is his responsibility to determine “what is and is not an imminent threat,” as well as “whether or not to take action he deems necessary.” You can read her full statement below.

In his X post announcing his resignation, Kent claimed “Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation” and that the conflict was started “due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby.”
Kent is not the first conservative to criticize Operation Epic Fury. Representative Thomas Massive has staunchly opposed to the operation since the beginning. Meanwhile, conservative commentator Matt Walsh has not outright opposed the operation, but he has repeatedly questioned its necessity. And of course, more controversial voices on the right like Tucker Carlson and Nick Fuentes has not been shy about condemning President Trump. Kent’s resignation, however, shows that opposition to intervention in Iran has entered the administration itself. The question now is how far that opposition will spread and how much division it will create.
Many on the right fail to understand just how dangerous Iran is. They also fail to see just how important Israel is, both to the Lord and to the United States. This puts President Trump in a precarious position. Not only is he hated by the left, but now many in his own party are turning on him. And as the midterms draw closer, disagreements and division in both the Trump administration and the conservative movement threaten to collapse the powerful MAGA coalition that created a Republican trifecta in Washington.
As Operation Epic Fury continues, let’s pray for Americans to be unified behind the Trump administration. Let’s ask God to open people’s eyes to the truth about Iran, Israel, and the Middle East!

Father, thank you that nothing surprises you. Thank you that your kingdom will come and your will will be done on the earth, in governments, in military missions, in politicians lives, in the church and each individual. You are holy, sovereign, and mighty to save. Holy Spirit please continue to deal with those in government positions who need to be born again of your Spirit. Remove our enemies currently holding a government position and replace them with your Godly men and women, seeking to do your will in this land, to lift you up and bring you glory….

It seems President Trump is having to do hard things that even appear to conflict with what he stood for. He seems strange to many. But it seems to me he is striking at the heart of evil. He’s risking possibly his own reputation, livelihood, and security for the sake of America. I read all the headlines on IFA today and they all point to the same thing: Will evil overrun us and win? Or will the church stop puttering in mediocrity, unite as the restrained in the earth, seek the will and heart of God, stand and pray?
Father, I ask specifically that you’ll send help from heaven, even angel armies, to help President Trump take full control the Strait of Hormuz. Grant victory at this small but significant point. And then I pray for a great awakening to sweep Iran. May they become the missionaries in the Middle East in these last days. And may all the glory be to God Almighty. Amen
The attacks from the enemy within continue to divide. The storm that he is causing is a real threat to not only the upcoming midterms, but to our nation as a whole. A divided party is a vulnerable party. It provides fuel for the enemy. We must pray fervently for President Trump and his leadership team. Expose the lies of the enemy. He is using powerful podcasters…they are “Goliath’s” in the media that need to be removed from their positions of power.
Why would IFA repost this fake news propaganda headline? Trump admin “fracturing”? Trump admin is more rock solid than at the start of this term – check the MAGA approval rating from of all sources NBC!! Joe Kent was a “mole” and Trump admin is NOT fracturng – it is CLEANING HOUSE and consolidating true MAGA. Trump is draining the swamp as he promised. The day after Kent resigns he goes on an interview with Tucker Carlson – now a turncoat – what does that tell you? – IFA – use SCRIPTURE to give you wisdom and discernment rather than being a “useful idiot” outlet for the works of satan in media.
To be effective, Intercessors need to have a higher Spirit-led discernment.

Nobody resigns and then immediately begins a massive same-day media and pervasive podcast circuit campaign without it being planned well in advance — with message consulting and coaching — to detract from the real agenda of the puppet masters that you never see.
Years ago, the Lord thrust me into Christian pro-life political statewide activism, elected to the Congressional District Republican Committee and the State Republican Committee, for a season. And I had learned two very important things by the time the Lord ultimately released me from it: 1) It became ever increasingly difficult to tell who the good guys were. Everyone who talks the talk aren’t as they project themselves to be. And, 2) NOTHING in the political arena is as it appears to be.
Both are certainly being manifest in the current Joe Kent news cycle and media blitz.
Sadly a rat got into the mix. I’ve watched this man and he is not to be trusted since his first appearance on the political stage in WA state!
Pray that the Holy Spirit convicts every person and no one is able to use or abuse their positions to harm our administration!
God of Angel Armies watch over and direct our leaders. Weed out self-serving and enemy assets and watch over the rear guard as you did The Hebrew children coming out of Egypt. Bring our true allies up and continue to enforce the prayer shield!
