Islamic Terror: Has the War in the Middle East Reached Our Shores?
Operation Epic Fury continues. Israel’s and America’s attacks are increasing, and Iranian missiles are striking Israeli cities. Amid the conflict, however, recent terrorists seem to imply that the fighting has expanded beyond the Middle East, even reaching our shores.

From CBN:
Israeli and American forces struck targets across Iran on Thursday, and Israel’s military confirms that its airstrikes have focused on Iran’s drone operations and leaders of the Basij paramilitary force.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, more than 250 Iranian drones and dozens of launchers have been destroyed since the fighting began. U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) indicates that U.S. forces have struck roughly 6,000 targets, including more than 90 Iranian naval vessels, among them, about 60 ships and 30 minelayers.
Iran launched at least six missile barrages toward Israel throughout the day on Thursday, sending millions of Israelis, from Eilat in the south to Kiryat Shmona in the north, running for bomb shelters.
As the fighting continues in the Middle East, however, many fear that the conflict may have reached our shores. Earlier this week, the U.S. intercepted a possible Iranian “sleeper assets” trigger. And recent terror attacks, while not directly tied to Iran, could be related to this trigger.
CBN notes two terrorist attacks that occurred this week. In one instance, a Lebanese immigrant rammed his vehicle into a synagogue in Michigan. Though no one was hurt, the FBI stated afterward it is investigating the attack as “a targeted act of violence against the Jewish community.”
In another instance, former National Guardsman Mohamed Bailor Jalloh opened fire in an Old Dominion University classroom, killing one person and injuring two others. Jalloh formerly pleaded guilty in 2016 to attempting to provide material support to ISIS. He also reportedly shouted “Allahu Akhbar” before carrying out his attack.
This is a sign that the war has reached our shores. Even if these two men were not directly connected to Iran, it seems all too likely that they were motivated by the conflict in the Middle East. As CBN puts it, “As the war between Israel and Iran continues to intensify, the conflict is no longer confined to the Middle East, with Security concerns now stretching from the Persian Gulf to American cities.”
Let’s pray for a swift and decisive victory over Iran, and let’s pray for protection from all attacks like these in America!

We declare that satan’s plans for the destruction of America will not succeed. We ask for this protection also for Israel and the precious people of Iran. Stop the violence, we pray. Protect our leaders, expose evil plans, and bring down wicked rulers throughout the world. Cause all wickedness to become fuel for revival. And we pray these things in Yeshua’s name. Amen.
I pray that God guide and protect we the people who are faithful servants. May those who believe the lies of satan be shown God’s truth so they might save their soul before it is too late. I trust in God’s will let it be done. 🙏😇🙏❤️
From the U.S. Territory of Guam, in the Western Pacific:
We pray against all intended acts of terrorism within the United States of America, here on the Island of Guam. We also pray for our servicemen and women in active duty alongside the Nation of Israel in the current Middle East conflict in the war against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Just this week, we continue to pray for the safety of the people of Guam, calling attention to the military bases here. EWe pray in Jesus’ Name. Amen
Using information that is “possible” and there may be a possible connection is probably unworthy of a Christian organisation.
America has a history of violence on the home front from lynching, KKK, discrimination, slavery, vast gun violence, so nothing should take us by surprise.
On the world stage America fought to a draw in Korea, retreated from Vietnam, was worn down by the Taliban in Afghanistan, abandoned Iraq to the Islamic state. And in 1953 to protect oil interests it organised a coup against the democratically elected prime minister – the Shar was restored. Anti American sentiment has festered.
Regime change has been a disaster.
The future does not look good. May God give wisdom and bless the peacemakers.
“In 1953” refers to Iran of course- sorry for typo.
Psalm 51:1-11 KJV
[1] Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: According unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions. [2] Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. [3] For I acknowledge my transgressions: And my sin is ever before me. [4] Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: That thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest. [5] Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; And in sin did my mother conceive me. [6] Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: And in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. [7] Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. [8] Make me to hear joy and gladness; That the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice. [9] Hide thy face from my sins, And blot out all mine iniquities. [10] Create in me a clean heart, O God; And renew a right spirit within me. [11] Cast me not away from thy presence; And take not thy holy spirit from me.
This psalm comes to mind America needs to be washed clean, humbled in 2 Chronicles 7:14 then God will heal their land. We as Eklesia certainly have work to do but Thanking Lord for Victories have occured! The Battle belongs to Lord we serve Him!
Lord, please protect our military, President Trump and his administration as they make all decisions. May they humble themselves before you seeking your wisdom and discernment in all they say and do. Also please protect all the innocent people in Iran and Israel. In Jesus name.
Amen! May we stand strong through a commitment to pray regularly and fervently for Israel and our nation. It should always be Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Sovereign LORD,
Please let the US achieve success fast in Iran and come home!
May the church in Iran be empowered and protected and may they have a voice in the new government there!
We ask you these things not by our power or strength but by Your Spirit!
