On Tuesday night, President Trump addressed the nation in the first official State of the Union address of his second term. He shared the wins of his administration, his plans for the future, and plenty of answered prayers.

At IFA, we’ve been praying regularly for the President and his administration, as well as the nation as a whole, for years. We’ve been praying for law and order, for wise leaders, and for our nation to return to Christ. And, in his address, President Trump touched on all of these points.
Throughout his address, President Trump announced a new retirement program proposal, unveiled an energy deal with data centers and big tech, presented medals to several American heroes, highlighted his economic agenda, announced a war on fraud, backed a bill banning congressional stock trading, and teased a future in which tariffs may replace income tax. Addressing guests, lawmakers, and elected officials, he proudly announced that the U.S. is “bigger, richer, and stronger than ever before.”
Of course, detractors did attempt to protest the President’s speech. Democratic lawmakers in attendance refused to applaud, and one lawmaker even shouted at the President at one point. Nevertheless, Tuesday night’s address was characterized by success, patriotism, and answered prayer.

President Trump’s first year was quite eventful. Now, his second year (which is also America’s 250th anniversary) promises to be even more eventful. Let’s pray that our leaders in the Trump administration continue to seek the Lord for wisdom, and let’s pray for His will to be done!

Father God,
We humbly come together to pray for US President Donald J. Trump, lifting up our prayers of gratitude to You for a president that we do not deserve.
We pray as grateful warriors who hear the call to stand in the gap for President Trump, his family, and his administrative team who all revere the Lord and are called to restore the United States of America back to its Judeo-Christian roots for Your Glory.
We pray for Your wisdom, grace, and endurance to rest upon the President, and that he would continue to hear Your voice of guidance with clarity, acting upon Your instruction with precision.
Moreover Lord, we ask that You cover President Trump, his family, and his administrative team, by Your warring angels, keeping them from harm’s way. We pray that You thwart the plans of the enemy, that they would fall back on their own swords. That no weapon formed against them will prosper.
Father, Your word says that the effective, fervent prayers as watchmen on the wall will not return void, but will accomplish all that they have been sent to do. To that end, we boldly stand in the gap together as one, for the protection and provision of President Trump, his family, and his administrative team.

Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of America, what it is founded upon, and how You have blessed us. We ask for Your continued healing of our land, may we be strengthened in You, glorify You, praise You in all things. We seek Your will, for you know best. Please infuse President Trump with Godly wisdom, guide him in all things so that multitudes will come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and America will be that shining city on a hill to bring others to Jesus. Please give Your angels charge over President Trump and his cabinet to protect them from evil, fill them with strength to meet the demands of their calling. Thank You for hearing the cries of our hearts for this land we love. May You be glorified in all these things and in all we do. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Trump is undoing everything Obama and Joe Autopen have done to destroy America. I’m so touched at what God is doing through this administration. To God be the glory!
Finally, a President who did the job of that one would expect of a National Leader. Telling his contrymen what has and is happening and an entry as to why, where, and when. Exactly what a State of The Union should do.
I do wish in several discussion points he would have said “We have accomplished” instead of “I”. It is clearly understood that any and all of what was laid out would not have been realized without him being our Leader and President.
I think when he’s saying I, he is still trying to remove the contempt the left have for him. Better wording… under my leadership. But, it was a long speech. “I” cuts out a lot of verbosity:)
