A candidate for Attorney General in Ohio has gone viral for announcing proudly on X that he is “going to kill Donald Trump.” This comes as many have threatened the President’s life, prompting believers around the nation to pray.

Forhan clearly expresses his intention to kill the current democratically elected President of the United States. Although he clarifies that he wants to do so through capital punishment as opposed to assassination, this isn’t much better. It’s also unclear what crime he hopes to accuse the President of, as the Commander in Chief hasn’t done anything to warrant the death penalty.
While Forhan’s comments are shocking enough on their own, they are, unfortunately, part of a larger trend. Many have sought the President’s life over the past few years. Intercessors will remember July of 2024 when a gunman barely missed then-former President Trump’s skull, shooting his ear on live television. And earlier this week, a librarian in West Virginia was arrested after she attempted to recruit assassins to target President Trump.
This also comes as violence has been on the rise across America. From healthcare CEOs to podcast hosts, many seem to have decided that deadly violence is an appropriate response to personal disagreements. And as President Trump continues to serve the nation, many who oppose his America First agenda have come to see assassination as a morally acceptable way to impede that agenda’s progress.

The enemy of our souls clearly wants to remove President Trump at all costs. However, we saw God protect him in Butler, Pennsylvania, two years ago, and we believe through prayer and intercession we will see God protect him again. Throughout February and what’s left of January, let’s pray for President Trump!

Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up Donald Trump to You. Your Word says that “the king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord” (Proverbs 21:1), and we trust that You are sovereign over all authority. Please place Your hedge of protection around his life, as You promise in Psalm 91, guarding him from harm and violence.
Lord, expose and frustrate any plans formed against him, for “no weapon formed against him shall prosper” (Isaiah 54:17). We ask that You restrain evil and bring light where there are hidden intentions.
Grant him wisdom, discernment, and humility to lead according to Your will, remembering that “there is no authority except from God” (Romans 13:1). May righteousness exalt our nation (Proverbs 14:34), and may Your peace rule over our land.
We trust You, Lord, for You are our refuge and strength.
In Jesus’ name, amen.
Father, I cry out to you on behalf of President Trump. You have been his shield, fortress and deliverer. I thank you for being his keeper. I stand on Proverbs 19:21 “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails” that says while people may form many plans, desires, and intentions, it is ultimately God’s purpose and will that prevails. I pray Your will over President Trump, cover your leader Father. I pray over his entire family, may the plans of man be thwarted against the President’s family as well. I also pray that people who are so bold as to threaten the President of the United States be aware of the consequences for their actions. I pray people receiving money for these acts be held accountable, and especially those offering money. There is only safety in you. I pray these consequences give people time to think about the ways they have been deceived and turn back to you. Freedom, Father is in You and You alone. Forgive us Father for allowing this to happen and continue to happen without consequences. In the Matchless name of Jesus, Amen.

And for Prime Minister Takaichi where I plant churches, 20 to date under God…
No weapon formed against President Trump shall prosper. Thank you, Lord God, that you surround our President with a mighty army of warrior angels, guardian angels, and link angels. We claim Psalm 91 and Psalm 121 protection for him, that You preserve him from all evil and watch his going out and his coming back in. We declare that You, Lord, are a shield about our President (front, sides, back, under, over, and all the way around), his glory and the lifter of his head (Psalm 3:3). In Jesus mighty name, Amen!

You count the hairs on the head of our President, Donald J Trump. You alone protect Him, the first family and their circle of followers. We ask for Your continued protection, guidance, discernment and strength to endure and cast down the evil schemes of the enemy. We ask for a wave of peace and awareness of Your Holy Spirit to come over our nation, Israel, and our world. Open the eyes and hearts of all people to Your Truth. Bind any devious strongholds of this world so that Your plans will prevail. We Praise Your Name and wait for the return of our Savior, Jesus Christ!

Matthew 5 says there is ONE way for Christians to pray. You are not to do it in public and you are to take no thought for tomorrow.
