The same network of groups that fueled anti-Israel protests and the June 2025 Los Angeles riots against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has organized dozens of pro-Maduro and anti-ICE protests around the country.

One group, Answer Coalition, declared on social media an “emergency day of action” on Jan. 3.

The coalition’s national director, Brian Becker, after taking part in a New York protest, appeared in a segment on Chinese state media outlet CGTN—a registered foreign agent with the Department of Justice—to condemn the U.S. move.

The Times also highlighted the Party for Socialism and Liberation, a group in the same network as Answer Coalition, which shared an anti-ICE post on X last week that included communist and anarchist imagery.

According to the Times, these groups are now facing scrutiny in Congress. In particular, lawmakers are looking into Neville Roy Singham, a U.S. millionaire who lives in Shanghai. Singham has appeared alongside Chinese officials and is well-known for being pro-CCP and, according to Representative Anna Paulina Luna, “anti-American in ideology.”

Last year, lawmakers investigated 18 groups, including Answer Coalition and The People’s Forum, over violating the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA) due to their ties to Beijing. Representative Luna said she is following up on the matter, accusing Singham of being “an unregistered agent of China in violation of FARA.”

The Times notes that The People’s Forum, funded in part by Singham, hosted a course celebrating the CCP’s rule of China last October. The group also posted its desire for a “free Palestine” and to “get ICE off our streets.” The organization’s founded also reportedly appeared at the World Trade Center on January 8 to lead a protest against ICE.

While many have tried to frame these protests as free speech, some lawmakers have disagreed. Representative Michael Cloud, for example, made a clear distinction between the two, telling NTD, “Free speech for American citizens is different than foreign states filtering their money through NGOs and the like to sway elections and to sow chaos into our country.” He said the latter “cannot be allowed,” adding on later that there “should be some restraints.”

From communism to opposition to ICE, this network shows us that these ungodly ideologies are all coming from the same place. More than that, there are foreign entities working behind the scenes to undermine our government and sew chaos in America. Let’s pray for this network to be exposed, and let’s pray for an end to these unrighteous protests.
