After years of politically charged protests and far-left legislation, it’s fair to say that Portland, Oregon, has become a deep blue stronghold. Now, conservative activist Nick Sortor is suing the city over its alleged discrimination against conservatives.

From KOIN:

Sortor filed a tort claim against the City of Portland on Monday, formally stating his intent to sue over his arrest outside the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement building in October. He is seeking $10 million in damages from the city for the arrest.

“This wrongful arrest was not just a mistake,” said Angus Lee, Sortor’s attorney. “It was the product of a deeply embedded culture of political discrimination in Portland law enforcement.”

The 27-year-old social media personality was arrested at a protest outside the ICE facility Oct. 2, as KOIN 6 News previously reported. He was charged with one misdemeanor count of second-degree disorderly conduct.

According to OPB, Sortor got in a “heated argument” with anti-Trump protestors. One protestor reportedly pushed Sortor, while another swung a stick at him. The Multnomah District Attorney’s Office quickly dropped charges against the conservative, determining he acted in self-defense.

Sortor appeared on Fox News with Laura Ingraham earlier this week to discuss his arrest and lawsuit. He accused the Portland police of arresting him because he was a conservative, and he suggested that “big, leftist police departments routinely side with the woke, radical, violent left.” He’s now slapped the city with a federal civil rights lawsuit.

Portland is not the only blue community that’s discriminated against conservatives. However, if Sortor’s lawsuit is successful, there’s a chance it could be the last. Let’s pray for an end to political discrimination in America!

These anti-American, woke, and totally evil police departments are a disgrace to the uniform they wear. They have chosen evil over good and will be judged by Jesus Christ for their actions. Repent you fools before it is too late to save your souls. 🙏😇🙏❤️

Lord God, you know the darkness this city and state have been under for decades. We are fighting a battle against the principalities and powers of darkness in the heavenly places…and darkness is overwhelming our city and state. We need help here in Oregon Lord. Please hear us and send angel armies to fight against this pervasive evil.
I also ask that you raise up men and women who will openly and fearlessly acknowledge your sovereignty and call the deeply deceived people who support this wickedness back to you. Lift this cloud of deception so that all can see your majesty and call upon your name to be saved.

heavenly Father we come to you in the name of Jesus to continue to protect each and every prosecuted Christian everywhere. May everyone who stands on the side of the enemy pay, monetary, for their lies and opposition against your people. I pray that freedom of speech will not be taken advantage of or silenced. I pray for a hedge of protection on all who are fighting on your side. Empower each believer who are fighting for justice and your biblical truth with peace and are made bold as lions. May we never be silenced who stand on your side. Grant each one with Your wisdom. We thank you and we praise you for your goodness and all you do. Amen
