In late November, IFA covered a massive scandal in Minnesota: bad actors, many from the state’s Somali community, had stolen billions from taxpayers through a complex network of fraud. Now, however, it’s been revealed that Representative Ilhan Omar, a far-left lawmaker from the state, is linked to that fraud.
Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.

Members of the inner circle of Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., personally profited from the $1 billion welfare fraud scandal in her district that has placed her Somali constituency under a White House microscope.
Omar held events at one of the restaurants named in the fraud, knew one of its now-convicted owners and had a staffer who was also convicted, the New York Post reported.
Omar also introduced the legislation that led to $250 million being defrauded from federal child-nutrition programs in COVID-19 aid, according to the newspaper.
Fox notes that, in 2020, $250 million in state funds was distributed to give meals to schoolchildren, only to then be fraudulently pocketed by Salim Ahmed Said. In 2018, Representative Omar held a victory party at Safari Restaurant, a restaurant owned by the very same Said.
The ties go deeper. The money Said fleeced came from the 2020 MEALS Act, legislation that was introduced by Representative Omar. Additionally, Fox notes that much of the funding was funneled through the infamous nonprofit Feeding Our Future, a nonprofit that Representative Omar helped promote.
Representative Omar is not tied directly to the fraud. In a statement on how her state became such a hotbed for financial misconduct, the Representative said, “I just think that a lot of the COVID programs that were set up — they were set up so quickly that a lot of the guardrails did not get created.”
On some level, Representative Omar seems to agree with the Trump administration, which pinned the fraud on Minnesota officials for a lack of oversight. The fraud in Minnesota seems to be yet another example of money spent recklessly and without oversight during the pandemic.
The Trump administration and Republicans are currently investigating both Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and the state’s Somali community over potential culpability in the massive amounts of fraud. As these investigations continue and the truth continues to come out, let’s pray fraud like this would never happen again!

Let Your true justice prevail in this, Lord, & let all those responsible for this fraud and abuse be deported and incarcerated for these crimes against our country. Please give us godly leaders who lead our nation’s people back to You & Your ways, Lord Jesus!
Sadly but not surprisingly, this long overdue fraud has been exposed and it will continue to get worse (as far as the criminal activity that gets exposed). I’m a former resident, having lived there for 40+ years. There are and will be continuing questions as to how this historical fraud took place but I can say this much…this has gone on for at least 2 decades.
The present leadership (or lack thereof) is a primary reason for the ongoing fraud – it was facilitated and enabled by primarily, the Democrat party, which sadly has a horrible reputation not only nationwide but in the stranglehold called Minnesota. It was not facilitated by inactive Christianity, as some would argue but more involvement both spiritually and physically will only help. The primary reason this happened is election fraud, cheating, tampering, etc…to ensure Democratic control. People also must be aware that the A.G. of MN is a dedicated Muslim, believer in Islam and has a “washed” police record for physical domestic violence against 2 women. He works quietly to ensure the ongoing fraud continues and waters down law enforcement to ensure a state of anarchy is never far away (remember George Floyd and Mpls). At one time, he was a serious frontrunner for AG of our nation but the Dems could not figure out how to wipe away his history of violence with women and his police record. So instead the position went to M. Garland. I would ask that people pray for Ellison’s removal from office.
We have watched as people like Walz, Omar, Klochubar, Frey & other democratic leaders have made and pushed continuous evil legislation, while selling us its for the good of the people.
The good news is this. There are areas within MN that are still marginally held by the Dem party – in other words, Christians who are involved in gov’t and legislative action / door to door governing activity could easily flip those areas with both dedicated prayer combined with involvement.
I ask that the intercessors of IFA continue to pray for full exposure with accountability & actual justice in MN. Pray that the house of cards falls and that people are replaced by those that honor God and his statutes.
I lived there for 30 some years, too. Saw so much corruption even in the Christian church. We tried to promote Michelle Bachman and one man one woman marriage at the church and were told absolutely not. Horrible evil there. So thankful I live in the South now.
I am praying that the spirit of truth and justice gets dealt with in every nook and cranny of our nation. So many have stolen and pocketed illegal gain while the rest of us work our tails off to make our income, pay taxes, etc… Enough is enough! I am praying that those that are doing the investigations are filled with clarity, purpose, a supernatural abitlity to do what is right and just in these situations. Amen.
Lord, please put an end to this fraud. Help those in authority create and enforce checks and balances so this does not happen in the future. Bring those involved in evil doing to justice. And may those involved in fraud repent from their wrong doings. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.
Father I pray for truth to be revealed. may the plans of the spirit of deception and error be foiled and Your Spirit of Truth and Righteous prevail. Remove those evil actors and government officials used by the Satan. May your Light expose the darkness and the plans made in the dark. May the wealth of the wicked be stored up for the Righteous.

Lord, forgive our trespasses and sins, and save the wicked hearts of as many Somalis as You desire. We also ask that first, you remove the empire of evil, hosted by mostly demon possessed democrat governors, other leaders, activist judges, activist attorneys, and local activist Marxist/socialist deluded folks. Let Your light shine in the darkness of Minnesota as well as all of the other blue states. Bring deliverance to the ungodly that are in bondage to Satan through their worship of false gods and money.

Father, I pray that you expose wicked schemes from government leaders and bring them to repentance. Bring them to shame so that they may turn to you in repentance and recognize that you Lord are the ruler of the realm of mankind and you give it to anyone you wish. It is You who raise leaders and it is You who will remove leaders. Lord I pray that you do not allow wicked leaders to prosper over Your people.
Lord, I pray that the truth would come out, and Ms. Omar and Gov. Walz will confess their fraud, if they are guilty. Thank you Lord that you know the truth and You desire truth! Please help our country. Amen
Father, I pray for this fraud never happen again. Give our leaders wisdom to police where the funds go that are granted in such cases. May those who took part in this fraud be convicted. But more, turn their hearts to repentance and to life in you..

I think Omar should be removed from the United States. She has publicly said that she is a citizen of Somalia. I am confident that it will be found that she took part in the scandal of defrauding the government on funds that has been found in Minnesota.
Ilhan Omar belongs in JAIL and needs to be removed from Congress NOW!
George Soros belongs in JAIL and needs to have his assets seized for all his un-American activities tantamount to TREASON!
If Representative Ilhan knew the guardrails weren’t in place why didn’t she prevent the fraud…….
Lord we pray Your Truth be brought to light. We pray that Americans and foreigners involved in fraud and corruption in our country be held accountable. Lord thank you for hearing and answering our prayers for justice to be administered to those responsible.
