Even as opposition to Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is at an all-time high, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently revealed that 175,000 Americans have signed up to join the agency.

Department of Homeland Security Assistant Secretary Tricia McLaughlin revealed the updated recruitment number on “The Alex Marlow Show” on Wednesday. The recruitment blitz comes as the Trump administration is offering up to $50,000 in sign-on bonuses to new recruits.
The agency has also solicited former agents to return to the force, and many have joined, retired agents who have jumped at the opportunity have told The Daily Wire.
“It really is encouraging to see that patriots see through the charade of the media, they want to enforce the rule of law, and they want to protect our homeland,” said McLaughlin.
According to McLaughlin, those who have signed up saw how illegal immigration crippled the nation under President Biden. This inspired the new officers, or “patriots” as McLaughlin calls them, to join ICE in order to “protect their communities and where they come from.”
As the Daily Wire notes, the passage of President Trump’s One Big, Beautiful Bill gave DHS “a flood of cash” to bolster ICE with. The Department has since spent $6.5 million of recruitment ads that have aired on television and podcast networks, appealing to Americans of all ages and backgrounds.
This also comes as more and more prominent voices across the country are criticizing and condemning ICE. As IFA has reported, the agency has faced pushback from elected officials and attacks from angry protestors. Most recently, Illinois Governor JB Pritzker issued a chilling threat, suggesting that ICE agents will be prosecuted under future administrations. In the face of this opposition, it is encouraging to see that so many are still passionate about serving our nation as a part of ICE.
It is a dangerous time to serve in federal law enforcement, but ICE can’t afford to back down now. Let’s pray for the agency and each of these new recruits!

Heavenly Father, Strengthen your heavenly host to power against this darkness. We pray the fear of the Lord to fall upon the people in the cities, towns, and streets. We pray that the scales would fall off of their eyes, they would tire of hate and vitriol. Let the chants and rhetoric be a babbling confusion that has no effect. We pray, Lord, that they come to know Jesus. They would accept the hope and life that comes through Him. We pray that they would see what side they want to be on. We pray protection over all police, sheriff, security, business, city property, first-responders. I pray that city administrations would not attach themselves to this evil. That they would have counsel and wisdom from you as to quell the storm. We pray that you dry up the money over Soros and any organization that causes this darkness.
We pray over Tom Homan and every ICE agent to do your work with care, with intelligence, with compassion, and with lawful ways. We pray for peace in America. We pray for every nation to have peace, revival and a new harvest in their nation. We cancel every plan of the enemy. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Heavenly Father, we come boldly before Your throne as we pray the blood of Jesus over America.
It’s been His blood all along that has protected us.
We pray that the illegal immigrants that are here, would see the internal war this is causing and that it would cause them to have a change of heart and they would leave.
In Jesus Name, we cancel ANY plot or ploy the enemy has schemed up against this country and those who serve it. Amen.
I would like to see any political leader who is working against federal laws be prosecuted for encouraging and supporting violent protest by threatening ICE. They are doing worse than any January 6 person and they are true insurrectionists. Let us remember that we are fighting evil spirits and we will prevail if we put our trust in God. May God protect and guide us against these evil spirits to defeat them.
Thank you Jesus for strong and caring Americans who are willing to fight to keep our country safe. Please protect them. In your name we pray. AMEN AND AMEN
Lord we pray for your intervention and have mercy on us and people who want to harm us. Your will be done! I trust in you God! Amen
YHVH, thank You for stirring hearts of patriots to sign up for law and order being restored in our nation – in recent days, ICE and the armed forces are seeing upticks in “joining up”. May the best-qualified and most purely-intentioned be brought into service. Please grant them Your divine protection and guidance in these volatile and dangerous times – for lawlessness, Torah-lessness abounds. Awaken law-abiding citizens to their responsibility to support and uphold law enforcement officers – practically and vocally – taking back their neighborhoods. Have mercy upon us, Lord, for we have sinned greatly in allowing the decline of our nation. May we 2 Chronicles 7:14, so You can 2 Chronicles 7:14 – one of Your wonderful “If you . . ., then I will . . .” promises.
Lord, we pray for your protection for ice and all law enforcement and their families. Forgive us as a nation for all the sin that has turned our nation into what it is today. Please have mercy and grace on us all and intervene and help us. Open the eyes and hearts of all people to your truth, to see thru the lies that are harming this country. In Jesus name we pray.
