Since his inauguration in late January, President Trump has been dedicated to combating crime across the nation. Most recently, the FBI announced it had arrested over 28 thousand violent criminals, with even more arrests and action to come.

Trump, [FBI Director Kash] Patel, Attorney General Pam Bondi, and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche held a press conference in the Oval Office to update the public on the administration’s successes in combating crime.
According to a graphic shared by the FBI, it has arrested 28,859 criminals in 2025, on pace to more than double the 15,388 violent criminal arrests in 2024, the final full year of the Biden administration.
“The FBI has also destroyed or severely disrupted more than 170 organized criminal enterprises and gangs, 1,600 of the most violent gangs, and confiscated over 6,000 illegal firearms, and they’ve tracked down and arrested four fugitives on the most wanted list,” Trump said, noting two of them were at the top of the most wanted list.
President Trump also touted the success of “Operation Summer Heat,” an operation that saw the FBI crack down on crime in all 50 states from June 24 to September 20. According to the FBI, the operation resulted in 8,629 violent crime arrests, 2,281 firearm seizures, 421 kilograms of fentanyl seized, 44,569 kilograms of cocaine seized, the identification of 557 children, and 2,081 indictments.
Additionally, as IFA has previously reported, President Trump has been sending federal law enforcement to major cities to work with law enforcement to address crime. In the press conference, he set his sights on San Francisco, stating he had received requests from “government officials.”
He also said the federal government would be moving in on Chicago soon as well.
As the Trump administration continues to crack down on crime, let’s pray for wisdom and strength for our leaders, as well as for the restoration of law and order in America!

I have been puzzled by the small numbers of those selecting to pray for many of the reports and join IFA’s community of prayers.
Perhaps it is oversight of a “ box” to check?
Any insight on this?
Our gift of prayer seems to be left behind as our own perceptions of each subject leads us. Is it a sign of distrust of Gods ability to speak WITH us, to guide our prayers , or as simple as not choosing the right path?
