As Chinese cybercrimes continue to threaten American infrastructure, a recent “60 Minutes” report revealed that Littleton, a small town in Massachusetts, was caught in the crossfire.

Have you taken your place on the wall?

From Boston.com:

In the report aired on the CBS newsmagazine show Sunday, Oct. 12, Nick Lawler, the general manager of Littleton’s electric and water provider, tells “60 Minutes” that the FBI notified him that China had hacked into their utility network — which controls the chemicals in drinking water — in November 2023.

Luckily, the FBI caught China before it had operational control of the system.

“If you are willing to go after a small water provider in Littleton, Massachusetts, what other target is off the list?” asked Former National Security Agency Director Gen. Tim Haugh on “60 Minutes.”

Boston.com notes that Littleton’s water provider was only one of 200 utilities that had been compromised by Chinese hackers. The FBI found that New York City’s transit authority, gas pipeline operations, Houston’s port, and major telecom companies had also been targeted.

Littleton reportedly had to spend $50,000 to rebuild its network after the attack. But the Chinese hacker threat could affect more than just finances. According to Haugh, in the event of a conflict with the U.S., China could use similar attacks to take away resources and cause distractions.

This is not the first time China has targeted critical American infrastructure. As hackers continue with their attacks, let’s pray for stronger cybersecurity in our nation!

Our national leaders need to stop being distracted by the Middle East and the Russia-Ukraine war. They need to be focused upon the behavior of the CCP. President Trump needs to take a hardline approach when he meets with their president/dictator, rather than trying to have a “great relationship”. China is out to destroy this nation, plain and simple. Lord, by Your grace, please make a way for our leaders to protect our vulnerable infrastructure from Chinese interference. Please put a hedge of protection around it. Thank You Jesus.

China has been testing cyber-attacks on our infrastructure for years. Our govt knows it but has done nothing. The Chinese have been buying up US farmland at alarming rates, especially near US military bases. This could set up both military and infrastructure attacks, where we would have no time to react. Let’s pray that we will enact and enforce laws prohibiting foreigners to buy farmland, especially near US military bases, and to revoke such land ownership from foreigners whose country is actively doing cyber-attacks against America.

Dearest Father in Heaven we pray for confusion among our enemies. Confuse the cyberattackers, shut down those systems that enable any country to attack our infrastructure. We, the Body of Christ command the Chinese to be unable to attack the USA. We fervently pray that the USA will come together repent our sins and once again be one Nation, undivided. believers in God. through Jesus Christ our Savior. Amen!

Lord Jesus, I pray that you will stop the Chinese from interefering in our nation.
Lord, you know each avenue they use to undermine national security and to buy government officials.
I pray that every action against us this evil government takes will be exposed and thwarted.
In Jesus’ name I pray, amen.
