On Thursday, the Israeli government voted to approve President Trump’s peace deal, officially entering into the first stage of the plan to end the war in Gaza.

Israel and the terror group Hamas have officially entered into a ceasefire after the two sides reached agreement on the initial stage of a plan to end the war in Gaza.
The agreement was presented to the Israeli government on Thursday. The security cabinet voted Thursday to approve the deal that was reached after days of negotiation in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced the adoption of the agreement after the security council vote.
Prime Minister Netanyahu made the announcement flanked by U.S. Middle East Special Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner, President Trump’s son-in-law. You can view the video of this announcement below.

The ceasefire comes shortly after the second anniversary of Hamas’ brutal attack on Israel on October 7, 2023. The Daily Wire notes that, as part of this deal, Hamas will release the 20 remaining living hostages, Israel will release hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, and the IDF will “pull back from the heart of Gaza.”
President Trump is expected to travel to the Middle East and address the Knesset over the weekend, something that the Daily Wire notes is a rare honor for a U.S. President. Speaker of the Knesset Amir Ohana formally invited President Trump, referring to him as “The Peace President.”
The Bible tells us in Matthew 5:9 that “blessed are the peacemakers,” a fact that President Trump clearly recognizes. Let’s thank God for this peace deal, and for putting a peacemaker in the White House!

I thank you Lord for the first phase of releasing all the Isreali hostages. May they come to the realization to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. May the hearts of all the Jewish be receptive. In Jesus’ name.

I am glad to hear of this peace deal but I know that the Bible says when men says peace then comes sudden destruction. but I hope that this will be.
