ICE Facility Shooter Used App to Track Agents
On Wednesday, a gunman targeted an ICE facility, shooting at law enforcement and killing one detainee before taking his own life. In the days following this shooting, the FBI revealed a shocking key detail: the shooter searched for apps designed to track the locations of ICE agents.

From the Daily Wire:
FBI Director Kash Patel shared on Thursday that the gunman who opened fire on an Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility in Dallas yesterday had searched online for apps that tracked the locations of ICE agents.
Such apps are a “casting call to invite bad actors to invite law enforcement officers,” Marcos Charles, ICE’s Acting Executive Associate Director of Enforcement and Removal Operations, said at a Thursday press conference. “It’s no different than giving the hit man the location of their intended target, and this is exactly what we saw happen in Dallas yesterday.”
Charles called out mainstream media outlets for amplifying these apps, lamenting that “The media has been amplifying these apps even as we warned them it would only lead to more attacks on law enforcement.”
While Director Patel didn’t name the apps the shooter searched for, it’s possible he used an app called ICEBlock, an app that tracks sightings of ICE agents. The app is intended to help illegal immigrants evade ICE, but it could also by a individual like the recent shooter to track agents.
IFA, recognizing the potential danger, exposed this app to intercessors and called for prayer. You can read more about it in this article, or by downloading a free special report.
According to the Daily Wire, CNN came under fire for covering ICEBlock earlier this year, advertising it in an article as a way to “fight back.” ICE officials at the time warned that the app endangered agents’ lives, and Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said it sounded like “an incitement of further violence against our ICE officers.” The Press Secretary criticized CNN again on Thursday following the shooting.
Around the nation, ICE agents are under attack. Wednesday’s shooting was not the first attack on our law enforcement. Let’s pray for protection for every ICE agent as they work to keep our country safe!

I am praying for safety for law enforcement and agents and families. Also prayers for safety for anyone who supports and people connected to TPUSA. Thirdly, my prayers are for those who oppose law enforcement and public safety that they would turn away from the dark and see the light.
