According to the Daily Wire, this group, the Wren Collective, believes America’s “system of policing and mass incarceration is deeply flawed and intractably racist.”

The group has intervened on specific criminal cases, written policies that the district attorneys implement — such as eliminating cash bail — and strategized with at least one district attorney to mobilize activists to pressure judges who stood in the way.

That’s according to new research from the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund, which used public records laws to secure tens of thousands of communications between leftist prosecutors and Wren.

Emails suggest that the collective gets funding from donors contingent on government offices agreeing to do the group’s bidding, even demanding proof that an office is following Wren’s recommendations in order to satisfy donors. Those same donors often bankrolled the district attorney’s election campaign.

“Once in office, these donor-activist groups leverage their political relationships with prosecutors to embed The Wren Collective in their offices as the DAs’ lead policy and communications advisors,” the Law Enforcement Legal Defense Fund said.

So, in other words, the Wren Collective, a group with Soviet (in other words, Marxist) influences, is leveraging power and relationships to embed itself in prosecutors’ offices. This allows this shadowy group to have a lot of sway over which crimes get prosecuted across America.

The Daily Wire notes that infamous leftist billionaire George Soros has essentially reshaped American law enforcement by spending huge sums of money to elect far-left, soft-on-crime billionaires. This bold strategy results in in “influence groups” not having to both with convincing “legislatures to change laws,” since they can simply “place prosecutors who will simply decline to enforce them.”

We know that this has had disastrous effects. These soft-on-crime prosecutors have made our cities less safe and put our citizens at risk. Many on the right have insisted that some of the nation’s most recent high-profile crimes, including the recent killing of Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, were caused by these liberal prosecutors and policies.

The Wren Collective itself is extraordinarily secretive. Its nonprofit arm has managed to cleverly hide its donors. However, the Daily Wire has revealed who’s funding this operation, and it’s all the names you’d expect. Both George Soros and Priscilla Chan (wife of Mark Zuckerberg) appear on the list.

As this group continues to move in the shadows, let’s pray. Let’s ask God to remove the Wren Collective’s influence, and let’s pray for a return to law and order in America!
