Chaos Continues in Washington Over Epstein
Representatives returned to Congress, stepping back into the halls of power just in time for an explosive week on Jefferey Epstein and all Epstein-related material.
Pray for your fellow intercessor.
From The Hill:
The debate will resume immediately this week, since an Oversight panel subpoena gave the Epstein estate a Monday deadline to deliver a host of documents that could shed light on the elite associations maintained by the disgraced financier, who died by suicide in 2019 in a jail cell where he was awaiting trial on charges of sex trafficking.
…
The Oversight panel is also promising to release more Epstein files obtained from the Department of Justice (DOJ). The panel had subpoenaed the agency in August for the “full, unredacted Epstein Files,” and last week it released more than 30,000 DOJ files related to the case.
Even as files are being released, The Hill notes that many are objecting to the Oversight Committee’s handling of the matter. Many of the released files were reportedly already publicly available, and some are accusing GOP leaders of working with the White House to cleverly withhold files while maintaining the appearance of transparency.
Because of these doubts, several Democrats and a handful of Republicans are supporting an “alternative effort” to find out the truth about Epstein:
Democrats are unanimously supporting an alternative effort led by Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) to use a procedural gambit known as a discharge petition to bypass GOP leadership and force a vote on their bill that directs the Department of Justice to release virtually all information relating to Epstein.
…
Three more Republicans have joined that effort so far: Reps. Lauren Boebert (Colo.), Marjorie Taylor Greene (Ga.), and Nancy Mace (S.C.). And even if no other Republicans join, that discharge petition is on track to reach the 218-signature threshold to force action as soon as two more Democrats are elected in special elections later this month.
This discharge petition would force the DOJ to release “virtually all information” on Epstein and his associates. However, even if it’s successful, The Hill notes that the underlying bill would have several more hurdles to clear.
GOP leadership has taken a hard stance against the bill. Senator Thune has announced he won’t bring up any Epstein-related bills in his chamber. Speaker Johnson, meanwhile, rushed to the President’s defense, asserting on Friday that he served as an FBI informant working to bring Epstein down.
President Trump, meanwhile, has continued to label the Epstein controversy a hoax. Most recently, an unnamed White House official said that “helping Thomas Massie and Liberal Democrats with their attention-seeking” would be considered a “very hostile act to the administration.” Representative Greene even reported receiving “phone call after phone call” urging her not to sign the discharge petition.
This chaos in Washington doesn’t show any sign of ending. As our leaders and elected officials continue to debate over Epstein, let’s ask God to reveal the full truth in a way that only He can!

Google pays $300 on a regular basis. My latest salary check was $8600 for working 10 hours a week on the internet. My younger sibling has been averaging $19k for the last few months, and he constantly works approximately 24 hours. I’m not sure how 44 simple it was once I checked it out.
This is my main concern………. https://feeltoup67.blogspot.com/
This story is receiving way too much attention in the media and elsewhere, including congress. I believe this to be a distraction from more important matters.
Father in heaven, turn the eyes, ears, hearts of our congress men and women to better things, more important things regarding our nation. Would you put out this “fire?” Put an end to this story and cause our legislators to do more important things. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
There are more important things than the Epstein files. For example, the mayors race in New York, China, Ukraine, Russia, etc
