D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, once a staunch critic of President Trump’s crime crackdown, recently signed an executive order directing city police to cooperate with federal law enforcement indefinitely.

A press release from Bowser’s office stated that the mayor’s order “continues the work of the Safe and Beautiful Emergency Operations Center (SBEOC) in managing the District’s response to the Safe and Beautiful Task Force,” which was established by President Donald Trump.
The order from Bowser comes as Trump in early August announced that he was “officially invoking section 740 of the district of Columbia Home Rule Act” and that the MPD would be placed under “direct federal control.” Trump also activated the National Guard.
The SBEOC “will manage the District’s response, coordinate centralized communications, and ensure coordination with federal law enforcement to the maximum extent allowable by law within the District,” according to the press release.
Previously, Mayor Bowser was one of many Democrats staunchly opposed to President Trump’s crime crackdown in the capital. Recently, however, she has come around. The Mayor recently admitted that the President’s efforts made “neighborhoods feel safer.” Now, she’s seemingly going even farther, working to “provide the pathway forward beyond the Presidential emergency,” according to her X post.
This comes as President Trump has resolved to crack down on crime in other cities. According to the Daily Wire, Baltimore and Chicago are next on his list. Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, meanwhile, has voiced his opposition to this plan, setting the stage for an inevitable legal battle between his office and the Trump administration.
Let’s thank God for all that President Trump is doing to make D.C. safer, and let’s pray he would be able to help other dangerous cities across the nation as well!

Dear Abba Father, Please have an encounter with every leader in our government in every department and agency and in the three branches of government to recognize in their hearts that they are dealing with life and death issues for all their constituents, that these are not political issues; they are basic moral issues of what is right and what is wrong, what is evil and what is good. please wake up their consciences that they are serving humanity, all individuals whom God made and loves. Lord, infuse Your love into all of our hearts. If there were ever a time we need to be in unity, it is now. I pray in the name of Yeshua. Amen and amen.
Thankful for this. Only complaint I have really that these Democratic Mayor’s shouldn’t need a Presidential wake up call with an order to send Guard Troops to help enforce the law. It’s the Mayor’s job and police chief or whoever. Law and Order and protecting citizens should be priority in the first place. It’s common sense but regardless I am thankful she made the decision to work with Trump Admin. It’s my hope this trends and these Mayor’s will begin to realize that they have a job to do. I pray that stories like these will continue in Jesus’s name Amen.

Thank you that Mayer Bouser of Washington, DC, has changed her heart and decided to keep the city’s cooperation with Federal law enforcement to maintain victories already won. Help her to maintain the security and happiness of the city. Protect her from the radical leftists in and outside her party.
May you change the hearts of other Democrats like you did hers and Senator Fetterman’s. May you restore common sense and true reality to the Democrat Party. May they be cured of Trump Derangement Syndrome and Marx Madness. May many come to know the love of Jesus Christ.
Speaking of changed hearts, bring revival to both houses of Congress, both the House and Senate. Send your Spirit to convict the hearts of both chambers, leading to repentance, surrender and Restoration.

I agree, Wayne – pray for Congress daily to experience Holy Spirit conviction! Funny, just this morning I told my husband, that I was unsure whether anyone could be cured of TDS! I was beginning to think that it was terminal and incurable, and not even stark evidence of its insanity could reverse it. Do you suppose the cure could be produced as a vaccine? A lot of people might line up for it in that form!
Father I pray that Chicago and Baltimore would work with the Trump Administration and stop the killing of primarily young black men. Thank you Father and Holy Spirit that you changed DC Mayor into a cooperator for the good of her city.

I’m so thankful that the mayor of DC has come to her senses and is not obstructing efforts to bring safety, security and peace to the city! Hallelujah! I pray that the same welcoming response by the city and state’s leadership would occur at all the other cities where crime is so prevalent and the citizens live in fear.
