I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray for the full truth about Jeffrey Epstein to be revealed. That all that is hidden come to light, and let Your justice reign in America.
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Today, Republican leaders are returning to the House after their summer break. Unfortunately for them, they’re coming back to a mountain of drama, with the Epstein scandal dominating headlines and agendas alike.

Do you want state prayer alerts?

From The Hill:

Top Republicans had accelerated their July exit from Washington in part to avoid the thorny Epstein saga and were hoping the attention swirling around the convicted sex offender would dissolve over the five-week recess, allowing Congress to move on to other things in September.

Instead, the focus on Epstein is poised to erupt beginning in the earliest days of Congress’s return, creating challenges for Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) and GOP leaders just as they’re racing to prevent a government shutdown on Sept. 30.

On Wednesday, a pair of bipartisan lawmakers will host a press event at the Capitol to advance their efforts to force the Trump administration to release all of the government’s Epstein files. To ramp up the pressure, the lawmakers — Reps. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) and Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) — will be joined by several survivors of Epstein’s abuse.

Republicans in the House Oversight Committee have also subpoenaed the Epstein estate for “anything resembling a ‘client list'” and a “birthday book” that allegedly includes an inappropriate letter written by President Trump. According to The Hill, the estate will deliver these materials to the Capitol by September 8.

Meanwhile, Republicans, especially those in the House remain divided over Epstein. President Trump, the de facto leader of the Republican party, has been pressuring those in the GOP to drop the scandal. Meanwhile, every attempt to bury Epstein and all materials related to him only seems to further motivate large swaths of the right that will settle for nothing less than the full truth.

According to The Hill, America is also rapidly approaching another funding deadline on September 30. If lawmakers can’t pass funding legislation by then, the government will shut down. However, it doesn’t appear that our representatives will be able to deal with this crisis until they scale the Epstein-sized mountain in front of them.

As lawmakers return to Washington, let’s pray. Let’s ask God to guide them as they work to deal with these scandals and avoid a government shutdown!

Jeffrey Epstein’s victims destroy Donald Trump’s week by calling him out by name at a joint press conference, demanding answers, and obliterating his lies about the scandal.
And it gets so much worse for Trump…
“The truth is, Epstein had a free pass. He bragged about his powerful friends including our current president Donald Trump,” said one of the women speaking at the event. “It was his biggest brag actually. And while what I endured will haunt me forever, I live every day with PTSD. I live as a mother trying to raise my child while distrusting a world that has betrayed me. This kind of trauma never leaves.”
“My first trip to the Palm Beach residence, I drove there from the airport with Ghislaine Maxwell and Jeffrey and Ghislaine were always very boastful about their friends, their famous or powerful friends and his biggest brag forever was that he was ‘very good friends’ with Donald Trump,” she continued. “He had an 8×10 picture of him on his desk with the two of them. Like, they were very close.”
The bipartisan press conference was held at the Capitol and sponsored by Congressmen Ro Khanna and Thomas Massie. Several of Epstein’s victims spoke and called for the full release of the files. Khanna and Massie are attempting to force floor action on the “Epstein Files Transparency Act” which could blow the scandal wide open.
We know for a fact that Trump was longtime friends with Epstein and that his name appears throughout the files. The administration’s continued stonewalling on this issue has only supercharged suspicions. At this point, he could not appear any guiltier.
One of the victims, Teresa Helm, said that she is “very angry” that the Trump administration moved Ghislaine Maxwell to a “prison spa.” She said that the interview with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche — who was previously Trump’s personal attorney — was “repulsive” and triggering.
At one point, one of the women was asked if she had a message for Trump directly.
“Listen… I don’t want to send a direct message to him,” she replied. “I’m already scared enough. Just pass the vote. Listen to us. This is not a hoax. Like, it’s not going to go away. And like I said on my speech earlier, we are not going to be silenced any more. We will be speaking moving forward, wherever we need to be, we will be. And we need to pass this.”
At another point in the conference, planes loudly flew overhead, leading some commentators to suggest that Trump had ordered a flyover to disrupt the conference. If so, it didn’t work. The speakers forged on.
Another speaker gave a powerful call to arms, calling for “every Congressman and woman that goes against this bill be outted.”
“I want to know,” she added.
We all want to know. It’s time. Release the Epstein files in full.

Its not like IFA has any credibility as being fair regardless but no article on RFK spreading false information and all 9! living CDC directors calling him out for it, both Republicans and Democrats and if IFA did have an article it would likely defend RFK with no medical degree over 9 leading experts. Sorry, but this is not Christianity-we are SUPPOSED to be pro-life but when an administration takes actions that will get people killed…. silence…
all 9 living former CDC directors publish a SCATHING open letter calling out Trump and RFK Jr. for pushing dangerous anti-science nonsense and conspiracies that are “endangering every Americans’ health.”
This letter is a five-alarm fire, and EVERY WORD of it is worth reading, and we include key excerpts below.
This has NEVER happened before, as EVERY living former CDC director — Republican and Democrat, from Carter through Trump — united to sound the alarm on Trump’s health secretary, RFK Jr.
In their own words, what RFK Jr. has done is: “Unlike anything we had ever seen at the agency and unlike anything our country had ever experienced.”
RFK Jr. has “fired thousands of federal health workers and severely weakened programs designed to protect Americans from cancer, heart attacks, strokes, lead poisoning, injury, violence and more,” they explain.
“Amid the largest measles outbreak in the United States in a generation, he’s focused on unproven treatments while downplaying vaccines.”
He “canceled investments in promising medical research that will leave us ill prepared for future health emergencies. He replaced experts on federal health advisory committees with unqualified individuals who share his dangerous and unscientific views.:
RFK Jr. “announced the end of U.S. support for global vaccination programs that protect millions of children and keep Americans safe, citing flawed research and making inaccurate statements. And he championed federal legislation that will cause millions of people with health insurance through Medicaid to lose their coverage.”
And when CDC Director Susan Monarez refused to rubber-stamp his junk science on vaccines, “he decided she was expendable.”
“These are not typical requests from a health secretary to a C.D.C. director. Not even close. None of us would have agreed to the secretary’s demands, and we applaud Dr. Monarez for standing up for the agency and the health of our communities,” they write.
“The loss of Dr. Monarez and other top leaders will make it far more difficult for the C.D.C. to do what it has done for about 80 years: work around the clock to protect Americans from threats to their lives and health.”
The former directors warn the damage is catastrophic:
“Residents of rural communities and people with disabilities will have even more limited access to health care. Families with low incomes who rely most heavily on community health clinics… will have fewer resources available to them. Children risk losing access to lifesaving vaccines.”

Dear God-
Please watch over all the federal government’s actions regarding Jeffrey Epstein’s life, death, and actions. There have been conflicting messages coming forth about Epstein’s death and his so-called “list”. Our beloved president has urged congress to move on from the Epstein investigation(s). Thank you that the FBI under Kash Patel has made great arrests of human and child traffickers and also saved a multitude of children so far. Praise you for that Lord! Please give your divine wisdom to Kash Patel, Pam Bondi, and Thomas Massie about the Epstein investigation. Please guide our government to address what is highest on Your priority for justice. The Palmist wrote in Psalm 5 “ Make them bear their guilt, O God;
let them fall by their own counsels;
because of the abundance of their transgressions cast them out,
for they have rebelled against you.”
Let your Holy Spirit fill and guide all our federal representatives – especially this month as they work to also pass the September 30 funding deadline. Please guide them to CUT SPENDING. In Jesus’ Name, Amen!

Yes, we will just ignore Trump and his clear connection to Epstein, being best friends for years, we will ignore that Trump lifted the travel ban on accused human trafficker Andrew Tate, we will ignore that Trump nominated accused human trafficker Matt Goetz to be his attorney general, we will ignore the fact that Trump was found already to be liable for sexual assault and we will continue to just fall at his feet and call him our beloved president. We will ignore his cheating on all 3 of his wives and somehow compare him favorably to King David. Really twisted.

It is good to see some clear-eyed comment on IFA. Most comment conforms to the MAGA script.
America has long been afflicted by slavery, genocide of indigenous peoples, violence, economic injustice, racism, corruption and more. Now you have a conspiracy guy running health and a needy, vindictive narcissist pretending to run the world. And there is a prevailing myth among evangelical Christians that America is special – Gods special creation. God deliver us all from delusion.
