President Trump recently ordered the end of former Vice President Kamala Harris’ Secret Service protection. This comes after former President Biden extended her protection long past when it would usually expire.

Harris’ Secret Service protection will end on Monday, according to a Thursday letter obtained by CNN. A senior White House official confirmed the cancellation of the Secret Service detail on Friday morning.
“You are hereby authorized to discontinue any security-related procedures previously authorized by Executive Memorandum, beyond those required by law, for the following individual, effective September 1, 2025: Former Vice President Kamala D. Harris,” a letter from the White House to the Department of Homeland Security read.
Federal law requires that vice presidents get six months of taxpayer-funded Secret Service protection after leaving office. Biden took executive action before completing his term, giving Harris 18 total months of Secret Service protection, NBC reported. Typically, her Secret Service detail would have been pulled on July 21.
Harris is not the first individual the President has ended Secret Service protection for. The Daily Wire notes he has also yanked Secret Service details for former National Security Adviser John Bolton, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former Iran envoy Brian Hook, and Hunter and Ashley Biden.
This move was met with criticism from some. A spokesman for California Governor Gavin Newsom suggested the decision was the result of “erratic, vindictive political impulses.” However, Harris’ protection would have ended by now if they had not been artificially extended by Biden. Should taxpayers really be expected to continue funding protection for vice presidents long after they leave office?
Though this move may be controversial, we know that God doesn’t need a Secret Service detail to protect current and former leaders. Let’s ask Him to protect VP Harris as she embarks on her national book tour, and let’s pray for wisdom for President Trump as he seeks to restore financial responsibility in America.

Your prayer does not make any sense. What is it supposed to be saying??
Oh my goodness! Some think this is retaliation. That is nonsense. It should have ended in July. Why did Biden extend it? She has not been shortchanged.

So Daily Wire, should President Trump allow Kamala “special privileges” above other Vice Presidents? Since he “yanked” her unauthorized and unconstitutional use of tax paid Secret Service to promote her book that is probably full of lies? So in the opinion of the Daily Wire, should she keep it? President Trump is following the Constitution and the protocol for Secret Service protection. My prayer is that people and the media and others will stop scrutinizing him on everything he says and does. What I don’t remember is that Joe Biden who had been proven to be
a thief with Burisma, and who ignored the Supreme Court when they ruled his orders unconstitutional, being so scrutinized by the media and everyone. Joe broke so many laws and is still not prosecuted.
FATHER GOD please put a hedge of protection around President Trump and his team and his family. Please continue to order his steps and direct his path. Let him clearly from YOU and I decree that he will continue to obey in JESUS MIGHTY NAME! Amen!
Please…don’t use terms like “yanked” to make our beleaguered President’s valid move sound mean! We get enough of that from God’s enemies…and they ARE His and our enemies, never don’t forget that for one moment!

Like when President Trump was arrested for felony crimes that were misdemeanors that had no victims? Or like how the unelected district judges keep trying to tell the voted on President what he can and can not do? Since you are on this intercessors line, perhaps you should ask GOD to forgive you for Trump Derangement Syndrome so you can clearly see the Truth of President Trump!
Pettiness? No way. Her protection should have ended when it should have ended, not been continued at the cost to taxpayers. It is not right that Biden even extended it!
