Intercessor, are you headed out of town for Labor Day? Thanks to lower gas prices nationwide, it’s the cheapest Labor Day weekend to do so since the pandemic in 2020.

Labor Day gas prices averaged $2.22 a gallon in 2020, $3.16 in 2021, $3.79 in 2022, $3.77 in 2023, and $3.29 in 2024.
And this weekend, according to GasBuddy, they’re projected to be at $3.15 a gallon.“Labor Day marks the unofficial end of summer, and when it comes to gas prices, it’s been the cheapest summer to hit the road since the pandemic, a trend that will likely continue with the potential for the national average to fall below $3 per gallon this fall,” explained Patrick De Haan, who heads petroleum analysis at GasBuddy.
Prices of many goods and services have been coming down since President Trump took office again in January. And, speaking of the President, he’s touting the holiday’s low gas prices as a win for his administration. White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers said, “President Trump promised to unleash American energy and make everyday life more affordable for families, and he delivered.”
In addition to being a victory for the Trump administration, this is also an answer to our prayers. We’ve prayed for prices to come down, especially gas prices. Now, it would seem the Lord has answered those prayers.
As these prices continue to go down, however, let’s keep up the pace in intercession. Let’s pray to see even lower prices, and let’s pray to see a new golden age in America!

gas prices on the west coast are not lower. they are actually higher than they were even last year, at least in Oregon
Gas is not lowered in California. Between 4.99 & over 5.00 a gallon. Thank to Grewsom Newsom’s taxes
I am thankful for any and all provision that YHVH makes for us – whether lower prices, greater income, fantastic sales and clearance items, or thrift stores and yard sales – or even our ability to make do with less than we might want to! His grace is always sufficient!! We can testify to His ample provision!! Since we are currently living in the latter days, and the fast approaching return of Yeshua – I don’t have a lot of specific expectations – except what the Bible clearly states will happen. Our nation and her manifest destiny are in God’s hands, and will be determined by our choices as the body of Christ, and the choices of our leadership in government. I pray those choices are righteous!
I would like to know how an average of $3.15 per gallon is considered low. Where I live, the average price per gallon is $3.19. To me, this is NOT low. It is not staying at a lower price. It dips down as low as $2.79, but ALWAYS seems to make it back up above $3.00 per gallon. This is a problem for our economy that needs to be fixed. The fact that gas prices continue to be high affects our entire economy. This is one major area where President Trump has failed, in my opinion.
Ours here was 3.19, after a run.of 3.49, 3.39, then 3.59 now 3.29, its ridiculous, when one is tryng to budget, so, I try to use earned gas points, and try filling up at 1/ 2 tank regardless. It was nice to get . 20 off last week when it was 3.19 for about 2 days🙂 keeping all in prayer, i dont think its a failire on Trump, think its like every good thing he is trying to accomplish, the advocates of evil keep fighting against them.
This is just amazing, gas prices down, Except in PA, and wherever else as some may know, from their states.

What I would like to know, is whom do we implore to work on these gas prices in our states? Here in western PA, there are several oil/ gas ” barrons” and I just wonder if they are controlling it, or our Dem. Gov. and senate/ congressmen?
Anyone here in PA, please pray for this, because also many of us are on Soc. Sec., or SSI, and SNAP and our benefits have also been cut as well as many across the nation. I have our Congressman working on some of my situations, since Jan. and still no answers! So, for every move forward, there are some steps backwards. Our prayers must persist, God hears every single prayer from every single righteous one, we know and trust Him,and His Word!
Many quote James 5:17-18, but seem to forget a few verses before those…James 5: 11-16,19-20 These important words, within the verses:
Endure, Perseverance of Job( and seen the end intended by the Lord–that The Lord is very compassionate and merciful), above all, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath, let your “Yes,”be ” Yes”, and ” No be ” No” lest you fall into judgement, if suffering, Pray, if cheerful, Sing the Psalms, if sick, Call for the elders of the church to pray over you, annointing, with oil, praying through Faith saves tbe sick,and The Lord will raise him up, and if sins were committed, they ( he)will be forgiven,confess your tresspasses to one another,pray for one another, that you may be healed, Pray with Effective fervent prayers as(a) righteous ( man and people), And, if anyone wanders away, from The Truth, and is turned back by a brother, know he who turns one sinner back saves a soul from death, and covers a multitude of sins!
These are the most important spiritual reasons for prayers! Yes, we are to pray about our daily walk, yes for our leaders in government, and for our world, and the lost therein. Also, our daily struggles we all have just trying to get by here.

Unfortunately, where I live gas prices are higher than they were at the beginning of the year! They went up this week to $3.49! We’re still waiting for these low gas prices everyone is reporting about.
