Costco Stands Strong, Won’t Sell Mifepristone
On Thursday, Costco Wholesale announced it would continue not to sell Mifepristone, the infamous abortion pill. The retailer cited a lack of demand for its decision.

From The Epoch Times:
“Our position at this time not to sell mifepristone, which has not changed, is based on the lack of demand from our members and other patients, who we understand generally have the drug dispensed by their medical providers,” the retailer said in a statement to multiple news outlets.
The move comes amid campaigns against the pill from faith-based groups, including exchange-traded fund provider Inspire Investing and legal advocacy group Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF).
Both ADF and Students for Life America (SFLA) applauded the decision. ADF legal counsel Michael Ross claimed Costco had “nothing to gain and much to lose by becoming abortion dispensaries,” while SFLA issued a statement to “commend the pro-life movement for speaking sense into Costco Wholesale, resulting in saving the lives of the preborn and women.”
The Times notes that Mifepristone is “a drug that blocks progesterone, the hormone needed for sustaining pregnancy.” It’s the first of two pills used in chemical abortions. While the FDA approved the drug in 2000, HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. ordered the agency to review the pill again in May. This decision came after an analysis found that over 10% of women experience “serious adverse affects” after taking Mifepristone.
Last July, New York City Comptroller Brad Lander attempted to pressure Costco into carrying the abortion pill. In response, the Times notes that several investment advisers and corporate engagement consultants sent Costco a letter urging it not to carry the pill. Despite pressure and threats, the retails giant is standing firm.
This is an answer to our prayers! Let’s pray that Costco continues to stand strong in the face of pro-abortion threats, pressure, and activism, and let’s pray that more retailers refuse to carry this dangerous and deadly pill!

Stop America taxpayers to abortion. Costco must stop it. Forgiveness. Thank God saving pre-life babies.

Although Costco’s statement is rather weak as to its motives – lack of demand – I still rejoice in the decision they made to not sell the abortion pill. May they hold firm, and not give in to a rise in demand for it. May they instead switch to a conviction that it is wrong. Thank You, YHVH, for every victory in this battle!
Heavenly Father, NYC Comptroller Brad Lander is being used as a wicked instrument by satan. Bring upon him a sharp rebuke and a heavy conviction upon his heart and mind that exposed his actions. May he have a chance of life and accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
