I Prayed have prayed
Father, we pray for the full truth about Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. We pray for Your truth to reign, and we ask You to restore transparency and justice in our government.

Yesterday, a federal judge denied a motion to unseal the grand jury material in the Ghislaine Maxwell (notable Epstein associate) case, stating the public would learn nothing new if the material were released.

Let the IFA community know how to pray for you.

From POLITICO:

U.S. District Judge Paul Engelmayer, in a 31-page decision, chided the Justice Department for its bid to make the material public because, he said, the public would learn virtually nothing new from the documents and “would come away feeling disappointed and misled.”

“Insofar as the motion to unseal implies that the grand jury materials are an untapped mine lode of undisclosed information about Epstein or Maxwell or confederates, they definitively are not that,” Engelmayer, an Obama appointee, wrote. “There is no ‘there’ there.”

The decision about the grand jury materials is, on its face, a loss for the Justice Department. But it may allow the department to place the blame for keeping the documents private on the judge. The bid to make the material public was always a longshot and, as both the judge and the government acknowledged, the files contained almost no material that would add to the public’s understanding of the matter.

According to POLITICO, both Jude Engelmayer and the DOJ felt that there wasn’t anything significant in the material. If that’s the case, however, why keep everything private? And if the material is so insignificant, why did the DOJ push to release it? Furthermore, even if these documents truly provide no information, isn’t it better for them to be released anyway in the interest of transparency?

This all comes as the Trump administration is still doing damage control after the right wing overwhelmingly rejected the DOJ’s Epstein conclusion in early July. Last month, the DOJ announced that Epstein did in fact kill himself and that the rumored “Esptein files” didn’t exist. In response, many on the Left and the Right accused the President of defending pedophiles, outright rejecting the DOJ’s conclusion and demanding the release of Epstein’s fabled list.

Was there new information in the grand jury material? Unfortunately, Judge Engelmayer has stopped us from knowing. However, we know that God knows, and we can trust that He will bring all things to light.

The judge and all who don’t want info released should not be deciding for the American people. All that does is fan the flames of distrust. I for one do not trust any judge appointed by a democrat they have proven themselves to be unAmerican and ungodly. I trust in God to take care of this evil.

Father, may Your peace that passes all understanding guard our hearts and minds as we make our requests with thanksgiving. In this information age, people seem to want to know every last ugly detail of a situation. As Your people, Father, I am asking that You would protect our hearts and minds from things we just don’t need to know personally. I thank You for exposed Truth in this matter. I ask Father, that any others who were involved in this heinous crime would be exposed and brought to justice. I ask that the victims would receive healing from heaven and that the evil one would have no place in their lives any longer. I pray that every victim would come to a full knowledge of God. Thank You, Lord. Amen

Lord of heaven and earth, reveal the secrets of this vast corruption and evil of the people who have harmed children and our youth. Bring forth justice in the name of Jesus.

If there’s nothing new, then no harm, no foul! Making them public might restore a smidgen of the public’s trust in our government. Lord, we trust You to expose truth, and bring justice where justice is due. Thank You!
