There are certain times when the lies of the Left cross boundaries that defy logic and decency. It would be a relief if these tales fizzled out before making headway, but unfortunately, they linger in the newsfeeds, creating confusion and deception.

The first lie told by the Left this week is one that’s becoming all too familiar. In today’s world, conservatives or anyone affiliated with MAGA is a target for liberal lunatics who have been known to wish death and dismemberment on those who publicly ascribe to anything but woke politics.

Hulk Hogan’s Death Applauded by the Left

This twisted phenomenon unfolded recently when Florida county school board chair Sarah Rockwell praised the death of famous wrestler Hulk Hogan. “Oh, did Hulk die? I didn’t even know. Good. One less MAGA in the world,” read Rockwell’s since-deleted Facebook comment. Following up, she added, “He worked with the McMahons to union-bust professional wrestling. He’s never been a good guy. I feel absolutely nothing about his death.”

Hulk Hogan drew the ire of Leftists when he spoke at the Republican National Convention in 2024 and endorsed President Donald Trump. Since then, he’s been on their radar, as illustrated by Rockwell’s uninhibited response.

Anti-MAGA Rhetoric Backfires

Rockwell’s heartless comments sparked outrage on social media and garnered widespread attention from news outlets. Florida’s Education Commissioner Anastasios Kamoutsas sent a letter to Rockwell, calling out her unprofessional conduct. He wrote, “You made disparaging comments about the death of a conservative public figure, leading the public to lose confidence in your ability to treat all students and families fairly…I think it’s time for some reflection on whether you are properly equipped to serve on the Alachua County School Board.”

Since Rockwell’s viral post, she has made an apology via her official school board Facebook account. “A few days ago, I made a cruel and flippant comment from my personal Facebook account on a friend’s post regarding the death of Hulk Hogan. I deeply regret making that comment and have since removed it. I want to make it very clear that I never have and never will wish harm on anyone, regardless of whether we share political views. While I strongly disagree with some of the comments Hulk Hogan made, that is no excuse for my comment.”

The Left wants the world to believe that conservatives like Hulk Hogan deserve anger, bitterness, and callous treatment simply because they ascribe to a different political viewpoint. This, of course, stands in opposition to everything American and flies in the face of what our founders were trying to protect. When anyone praises the death of someone simply because they exercise their constitutional rights, this is a sure sign that deep prayer is needed.

Video Sparks Outrage

The next lie told by the Left this week involves a viral video depicting two homosexual men kissing a baby boy as they celebrated his first birthday. One of the men was a registered sex offender who had been “convicted of sexual abuse of a young teen male,” but still was able to “obtain an infant boy through surrogacy.”

LifeSite News reported, “Brandon Mitchell, who ‘married’ another male, Logan Riley, is described as a Tier 1 sex offender in Pennsylvania, convicted of ‘sexual abuse of children’ and ‘possession of child pornography.’ A high school chemistry teacher at the time, Mitchell was arrested in 2016 for numerous ‘sexually explicit solicitations and conversations’ with a 16-year-old student after he was found to have sent 20 nude photos and a sexually explicit video of himself.”

When the video of the homosexual men kissing the baby first surfaced, the details of Mitchell’s crimes had not been revealed, but right away, some viewers expressed concern over the content. Immediately, leftists rushed in to defend the couple, calling any concerns bigoted, prejudiced, or homophobic. Twenty-four hours later, the truth came out, confirming the suspicions of many who had viewed the post.

Surrogacy Circumvents Laws Protecting Children

Citizen journalist Derek Blighe commented on X, “Unless a miracle happens, this child has almost no chance at a normal life.” His post went viral, amassing more than a million views. Readers were shocked to learn that the couple who received the child via surrogacy launched a GoFundMe fundraiser in 2023. Additionally, Pennsylvania State Police confirmed that “whilst the state’s adoption laws prohibit sex offenders from adopting or fostering children, gestational surrogacy arrangements circumvent these protections through pre-birth parentage orders.”

Conservative podcaster Allie Beth Stuckey warned, “Anyone with money can buy babies via surrogacy. Rapists, pedophiles, traffickers, any type of abuser. America is the Wild West of reproductive technology: IVF, surrogacy, egg and sperm selling are all virtually unregulated… It’s high time to put an end to all surrogacy.”

Live Action President and pro-life activist Lila Rose responded, “Horrific…Not only was this baby deprived of a mother by design, no safety mechanisms are in place to protect him. Children are not commodities. Ban surrogacy.”

The Left wants you to believe that it’s normal and healthy for two homosexual men to raise a child. The truth is that God created the family. His plan is for a man and a woman to marry and then raise children who will know and honor Him. Allowing children to be parented by adults living a homosexual lifestyle is unbiblical and harmful.

AI Avatar of Deceased Shooting Victim Advocates for Gun Control

The third lie told by the Left this week is strange and inappropriate. Liberal journalist Jim Acosta posted a clip of “his interview with an artificially animated avatar of deceased teenager Joaquin Oliver to promote a gun control message.” The avatar was created by the father of the teenager who was killed in the Parkland High shooting in 2018. On his Substack, Acosta engaged in a conversation with the computer-generated avatar, leading to a wave of condemnation from both liberals and conservatives.

During the conversation, Acosta asked the AI version of Joaquin Oliver various questions, such as, “I would like to know what your solution would be for gun violence?”

Oliver’s avatar answered, “Great question. I believe in a mix of stronger gun control laws, mental health support, and community engagement. We need to create safe spaces for conversations and connections, making sure everyone feels seen and heard. It’s about building a culture of kindness and understanding. What do you think of that?”

An Ethical Line was Crossed

One Bluesky user reacted to the awkward interview. “You don’t have an interview. You’re facilitating a grotesque puppet show, using grieving parent’s heartbreak for a bit.” Conservative news outlet Townhall responded, “Ex CNN host Jim Acosta is now interviewing AI versions of deceased children about gun control. This is a DISTURBING use of AI that raises HUGE ethical questions about journalism.”

This isn’t the first time Oliver’s likeness has been used to advocate for stronger gun control. In 2024, an AI-generated message of his voice was used to persuade members of Congress to advocate for tougher gun control measures. “It’s been six years, and you’ve done nothing, not a thing to stop all the shootings that have continued to happen since. I died that day in Parkland, my body was destroyed by a weapon of war,” the voice pleaded.

Of course, the pain of losing a child in such a brutal manner is devastating and heartbreaking. Continual prayer is essential in the battle against school shootings. Nonetheless, the Left’s use of artificial intelligence to prop up their political agenda is wrong and inappropriate. When it comes to violent crime, the problem isn’t the guns, but rather the people shooting the guns. In a sinful society where God is often sidelined or rejected, evil is able to gain a foothold and infiltrate the minds of those who are confused, lost, mentally ill, or given over to the enemy. Truthfully, the saving grace and blood of Jesus Christ are more powerful than gun control laws or AI avatars that offer manmade solutions.

Lord Jesus, this week’s lies are unbelievable and disturbing, but we know that in all things, You are in control. We ask for Your discernment and guidance as we navigate the perilous sea of deception.
