Both Israel and the United States have withdrawn their negotiators from Qatar, signaling an end to ceasefire talks with Hamas.

The United States has withdrawn its delegation from Doha, where it was participating in ceasefire negotiations this week, according to United States Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff.
The announcement came the same day Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office also announced that its negotiators in Doha would also be leaving in light of the response from Hamas. Witkoff also met with Israeli and Qatari officials in Rome Thursday, according to reports.
“We have decided to bring our team home from Doha for consultations after the latest response from Hamas, which clearly shows a lack of desire to reach a ceasefire in Gaza,” Witkoff said in a statement Thursday.
Witkoff asserted that Hamas “does not appear to be … acting in good faith,” adding that the U.S. would now “consider alternative options” to rescue hostages and bring an end to the conflict.
While this is big news, it isn’t necessarily surprising. We’ve seen Hamas back out of and break ceasefire agreements time and time again since October 7. This incident is only the latest example.
According to Fox, the breakdown occurred when Hamas demanded the “release of 200 Palestinians serving life sentences for murdering Israelis and an additional 2,000 Palestinians detained in Gaza after Oct. 7.” That demand significantly exceeded what was laid out in the Israeli-accepted framework, which included the release of only “125 life-term prisoners and 1,200 other detainees.”
In some ways, this breakdown is an answer to our prayers. We prayed for Steve Witkoff specifically to make Israel his priority, and this decision shows his and America’s commitment to God’s nation. On the other hand, the breakdown of negotiations is yet another roadblock on the path to peace.
Let’s continue to pray for the Middle East. Let’s pray that America would remain a strong ally to Israel, and that God’s nation would be victorious in its battle against terror!

Father, we pray that Gaza will be under the peaceful and sovereign control of Israel, the land and the Temple Mount belong to your people.. the Jews and the Gentiles who are grafted in through faith in your Son, Jesus Christ. WHY would anyone try to negotiate with terrorists? This can be seen as weakness by this misguided, deceived group. I pray that the Trump administration continues to give unwavering support to Israel, and that God’s will may be done for the nation of Israel. Thank you Jesus.
Thank the Lord that the peace negotiations that may involve President Trump has broken down. There will be no lasting peace in Israel until the Prince of Peace rules and reigns for 1000 years during the millennium. Any pseudo fake or temporary peace will be negotiated by the Antichrist.
I agree wholeheartedly, Ida. The only peace that I consider important to continue to cry out for is peace with YHVH, through the sacrificial atonement of Yeshua that restores relationship with Abba, and then the peace of YHVH that passes all understanding through the indwelling Holy Spirit. This true shalom is peace in the midst of conflict, not necessarily the absence of conflict.

I pray in the name of YESHUA. that these people would be wiped out? There’s only one thing to do is get THEM out of GASA. and from that whole area you can’t negotiate with them. They’re a death squad. That’s all they’re about. So how are you gonna have talks with them? It’s ridiculous to think that you could have talked to with them. The only thing we need to do is get in there and get out the survivors, and that’s all you can do. It’s very sad that it’s this way, but that’s the way it is.
This unfortunately is the truth. The only thing the Arabs in Gaza can do to survive is Obey Acts 2:38! Jesus is their only Savior!

Zech 9 says He will rip the blood from between their teeth–and it is well past time for that.
You CANNOT make deals with demons. YHWH never “made deals”–HE ROUTED HIS
ENEMIES in SCRIPTURE–so that would KNOW HE IS THE ONE TRUE GOD and that is
what needs to happen.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would move on behalf of Israel as the Lion of Judah, to protect your Israel and it’s people. May they come running to You for protection and peace. Defeat the enemies in any nation who insist on acting out hatred toward Jewish people. Protect each citizen, each IDF soldier as they seek peace from terrorist organizations, and any support groups. Break the weapon systems of every country seeking to destroy your people. Cause President Trump and all the cabinet, congress, state governments, Christians to pray and actively support Israel and break terrorism strongholds wherever it is found. Protect and give hope to any living hostages . In the name of Jesus Christ, we make our prayers and declarations to You, Amen

YHVH – thank You for continuing to watch over the hostages. Many who’ve been rescued, testify that You did hear their cries, and You came near. Please now bring rescue to the remainder – give judgment in their favor!

YHVH, You have seen the way Hamas has treated the hostages – these verses provide a mild version of the indictment the hostages and You could write against them, and perhaps You have written against them. So . . .
Lam 3:64-66 Repay them, YHVH, as their deeds deserve. Give them hardheartedness as your curse on them. Pursue them in anger! Destroy them from under your heavens!
Their already hardened hearts, have been hardened further – just as happened to Pharaoh. Destruction is the end result of rebellion against You YHVH, and rightfully so. Now let Your thundering voice go into Gaza, “Let my people go!” Thank You for clarifying who in this conflict does not desire peace – at least to anyone who is reasonable and recognizes truth. Continue to fulfill Your covenant promises to Your people, Israel.
Lord, I pray you with supernatural. Intervene negotiations or as your word says Israel is the apple of your eye and all who come against her, will fail.

You can NOT make a deal with the devil. When will they ever learn ??? Almighty God promised the land – all of it – to the nation that followed Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. JACOB, not Ishmael. Hamas does not want peace with Israel, only it’s destruction. The devil only comes to steal, kill and destroy. Genesis 12: 2 & 3.
I was in communications at sea during the six day war. It was a proxy war between us and Russian backing with the belligerents including Egypt. The Lord intervened as we were approached at night by a Russian guided missal frigate. It pointed its missals at me as I was on deck at zero hundred hours. The frigate suddenly turned hard to starboard and disappeared in the night. Our sister ship, the Liberty did not fare so well. Thank you Lord. I pray a similar resolution to this ongoing horror of hatred in the middle east.
