Following recent revelations about former President Biden’s liberal use of the autopen, one representative is pushing for legislation that would prevent future presidents from abusing the device.

Rep. Addison McDowell (R-NC) is introducing a bill called the “Ban on Inkless Directives and Executive Notarizations Act of 2025 (BIDEN) Act” that would amend Title 3 of the U.S. Code to prevent a president from using such a device for signing bills, executive orders, pardons, and commutations.
It comes as GOP lawmakers became increasingly concerned that Biden was not mentally competent or even aware when staffers used the device to stamp his signature on clemency decisions after the former president and his aides conceded to The New York Times that he did not individually approve each of the pardons, but rather authorized the overarching criteria used to determine who qualified.
The bill comes after Americans learned that Biden only personally signed the pardon for his son, Hunter. Every other controversial pardon, from Dr. Fauci to the January 6 Committee, was reportedly signed by the autopen.
Notably, Representative McDowell’s bill would render all acts signed by the autopen, both those signed in the past and those signed in the future, invalid.
The introduction of this bill also comes as Republicans have been busy interviewing Biden’s closest allies to determine just how mentally competent he was during his presidency. IFA has reported on these investigations and testimonies, and many have asked whether Biden was even aware of who he was pardoning and what he was signing throughout his time in office.
Let’s pray for Representative McDowell as he pushes his new bill in the House of Representatives. And, above all else, let’s pray for a return to to integrity, transparency, and accountability in Washington!

No Pardons should ever be signed by autopen! No executive order either. In these two cases they should not be limited, they should be restricted!
Father God we as that you would bring those that have committed crimes against humanity and our nation would face justice for their abuse of the former president and for their abuse of privileges that were given to them that would have had them in the position to have been able to abuse powers never granted to them!
I pray for the protection of our nation from enemies both foreign and domestic. I pray for the safety of our president and he does your work for our nation and the people who’ve placed their trust in him!

Lord Jesus, We pray for a return to Integrity, transparency, Accountability in Washington. We pray for the introduction of the BILL to Limit Autopen that would prevent future presidents from abusing the Autopen. Biden’s Autopenned pardons revealed that Pardons issued under Joe Biden’s name, but not directly signed by himself or his hand. Who Was Really Using the Autopen? This raised concerns about authenticity, due process, and presidential responsibility. Meanwhile, Biden also showed issues in his physical health and cognitive function over the years during public appearances. There’s no doubt that Biden was a Fake President. People behind him Stole the 2020 Presidential election from Donald Trump. They opened the border for those criminals like terrorists, drug dealers, and human traffickers who flooded into our country, and almost destroyed America. Lord, You see what is hidden and know every heart. Please grant power to Fix the 2020 Presidential Election. Expose lies, correct injustice, and hold the guilty accountable. Let no one be above the law, and no crime go unseen. Lord, We hope the BILL to limit Autopen will be passed soon. May justice roll down like waters. And righteousness like a mighty stream. An assistant director where I worked falsified documents in my name to my detriment. The Auto Pen should be eliminated.
May this legislation pass, to at least minimize the misuse of the auto pen. Please keep President Trump’s “signature” hand healthy and strong. May he continue to publicly sign many of the documents crossing his desk, by his own hand – unlike the previous administration. Please bring justice to this situation.
Yes I think this bill makes sense and I pray they pass the bill. The auto pen should be use “very sparingly” and only on certain correspondence from the White House. Thank you Jesus for everything You are doing this very moment to protect President Trump, his family, his amazing admiration and America.

Beyond the fact that I will pray for the bill to pass, a more fervent prayer is that all the people taking part in these treasonous acts might meet swift, appropriate justice from the Lord God Almighty. He is the way, the truth and the life.
Lord Jesus, You alone know the fullness of the unethical behavior during the previous administration. I pray, Lord, that the truth would come out regarding the use of the “autopen”. I pray that all of the documents that were signed by the autopen would not only revealed, but also, that they would be rendered null and void. This practice needs to be brought to a stop. The BIDEN act would definitely be a step in the right direction. I pray, Lord, for Your will to be done related to this potential legislation. Thank You Jesus.
The autopen can not be defended against abuse of it’s use, so all documents where the autopen was used are void. Investigate all involved in its use and if found guilty of abuse fined an obscene amount and jailed for a ridiculous amount of time. The punishment has to be great enough to be a deterrent, right now those who abuse their position in government have no fear of being caught and punished. I trust in God to take care of this in His time.

More needs to be done and investigted about signing with autopen. Many democrats who were pardened should have been impeached. They are still sitting pretty and still spreading lies and hate .
