Majority of Gen Z Men Support Restricting Porn
According to a poll conducted in March of this year, young Generation Z men are increasingly supporting restricting access to pornography.

The Federalist has the details:
In 2013, 51% of young men were in favor of “making it more difficult to access pornography online.” The study by American Enterprise Institute (AEI) found that 60% of “young men” today believe “accessing pornography online” should be more difficult.
The poll was conducted by AEI in March of this year to assess whether the “public is changing course” on cultural issues, one of them being towards online pornography.
“[T]he youngest [ages 18-24] and oldest [ages 55+] expressing the strongest support for increased restrictions,” the study found.
Gen Z men are more conservative on pornography restrictions than generations directly their senior. Generation X, ages 45-54, had the lowest support for online pornography restrictions at 47% and “just under half of men between age 25 and 54 support making online pornography more difficult to access.”
In many ways, these numbers make sense. Gen Z men were raised on an internet and in a culture dominated by sexuality and porn. They’ve seen its effects on them, their friends, and their families. Many are now realizing that pornography, while tantalizing in the short term, has disastrous long-term effects on mental health and relationships.
It is also important to remember that pornography in the internet age has grown far more extreme. In The Federalist article, senior fellow at the Institute for Family Studies Brad Wilcox mentions that this is potentially why Gen X is not as favorable toward porn restrictions, “since they were less exposed to today’s extreme online pornography.”
This survey comes as Gen Z men have been moving steadily to the Right. The Federalist notes that young men are “becoming increasingly religious and the most conservative generation in decades.” This could also further explain why so many young men are so opposed to pornography.
Whatever the reason, the results of this poll are an answer to our prayers. Let’s pray that more and more Americans would realize the danger of pornography, and that more and more states would take action to keep this sinful content away from children!
