UPDATE: The House has passed the Big, Beautiful Bill one day ahead of the deadline set by President Trump. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt announced the President will hold a signing ceremony tomorrow at 5 PM ET.
The Big, Beautiful Bill has returned to the House, where some Representatives are complaining that it is no longer the same bill they passed in May. What exactly changed?

The Daily Caller covered some of the last-minute changes to the legislation, including:
- Medicaid. Senator Susan Collins, a Republican holdout who ultimately voted against the bill, secured a $25 billion rural hospital safeguard fund. Taxes will not be increased to counteract this.
- Green Energy Tax Credits. Senate Republicans scrapped a controversial excise tax and added tax credits for solar and wind projects.
- Other Tax Credits. Senate Republicans added a new tax credit for contributions to nonprofits granting scholarships to elementary and secondary schools. The bill also now features a measure proposed by Democratic Senator Mark Kelly that “would restore the Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) subsidiary asset test by increasing the asset percentage threshold from 20% to 25%.”
- Artificial Intelligence. Senators voted 99-1 to remove a ten-year moratorium on AI regulation.
- SNAP. Senator Lisa Murkowski, another Republican holdout, secured changes to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) for her home state of Alaska. She claimed these changes will allow for “greater flexibility” for her constituents.
The bill also retained several key aspects intercessors prayed for, such as a provision to defund Planned Parenthood.
On Wednesday, representatives debated fiercely over the bill. Many Republicans decried it, calling its ability to pass into question. Representative Eric Burlison, a Freedom caucus member, accused the Senate of breaking its promises by failing to couple new tax cuts with spending cuts. Meanwhile, Representative Andy Harris, chair of the Freedom caucus, simply predicted disaster for the bill.
Representative Harris suggested that the President “get[s] the Senate back in town as soon as possible.” Otherwise, he suggested, “this is going to drag on until the end of next week.”
President Trump initially set a deadline of July 4, calling for the bill to be delivered to his desk by Independence Day. Only time will tell if lawmakers can meet this deadline.

Something is wrong with American Christians when they celebrate 11 million people losing their health insurance, supercharged deportations of hardworking immigrants and children, tax breaks for the richest among us and no money to feed and help starving children in 3rd world countries. I pray that Your Hand, Your Spirit, and Your Angels move this Big Beautiful Bill thru to passing, and keep it free from pork, interference, Democrat inserts and any other bad ‘provisions’ that undo President Trump’s mandates, undo DOGE CUTS, or in any way do harm to our people and our Nation! Thank you for Your protection and strength to the Righteous Congress and Senate members who hear Your good intentions for the People. Give strength, determination, and the better arguments to Mike Johnson and all who will join with our President! Please Pass this Bill and get money back to the taxpayers ASAP! Please save our Country from all who are predators upon it!

Wow. You missed a key RINO move in the Senate. The RINO’s stripped out the SHORT Act and the Hearing Protection Act that would have restored gun rights that were taken from law-abiding Americans in 1934. Shameful.

Please take away the evil opposition to everything that is true and right in Your sight. Give our godly government leaders the strength and the will to accomplish what You have purposed for our beloved country. Please take corruption, fraud, abuse and waste out of our government and our taxes. Let none of our taxes be used for evil purposes. Clothe our leaders who love You with Your full armor and let them do all to stand! Lift them up and protect them and their families. Deliver U.S. from evil, Lord, for Yours is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory forever! Father God, I pray that you will continue to embolden our congressional body to remain steadfast it cutting wasteful spending and the corruption that has infiltrated our government. I pray that your people will wake up to the evil that is running rampant in our government, our country and begin to get serious about repentance and calling out to you, to return to your rightful place within our government and in our lives!

Forgive us Lord. Over the years we have prayed little prayers for our legislators and the enemy got in with their help . While we did little prayers the enemy was building up their forces within the system. They learned how to use the system for their devious plans. May we continue to learn from you LORD what to do and how to pray.

I believe God will give guidance to all of our legislators I pray that they seek it and follow it.
Unfortunately our congressmen and senators have absolutely no spine. Why? Because most are on the take. It’s about how much money and behind the door deals they can secure for themselves. So the defund planned parenthood that was supposed to be 10 years is now one year. Medicaid for 1.4 million illegals. Tax breaks for the green new scam. I could go on and on. Why doesn’t our President put his foot down and demand that Congress and Senate keep the bill as written. Sorry people it won’t happen. And I’m not being a negative Nancy. I’m just speaking the truth. And this is why the Republicans always lose in the midterms. They have control of everything and they blame it on the Senate parliamentarian, which btw they have control over. The last time they fired one was in 2001 when the Republicans were in control. Sorry people but it’s corruption at its finest. I really thought things would change for the better for the American people. I think the corruption runs way too deep and if we don’t get rid of the idiots in our government America is doomed.
Sadly, you are 100%. The GOP doesn’t realize the power they have to win over the American public because they always let us down by not doing what is best for America. It’s odd that 2 of the changes made to suit 2 of the worst GOP Senators we have didn’t win their votes in the end. Murkowski shouldn’t even be in the Senate but because of the corrupt voting practice of Alaska she is. We need clean elections as well as solid MAGA reps.
Father God I ask for clarity of thought and motives for each legislator. May those given to contention and strife be silenced by your peace. Those in captivity of darkness and deception delivered into the Light of Truth resulting in repentance and in place of arrogance humility. Father God, deliver us from the snares of the enemy that would keep our nation, your nation from drawing closer to you. Father God we need you in every facet of our lives. Father, asking You to bring the representatives into alignment with You. You placed President Trump in this position for such a time as this. Praying for this BBB to be successful, to be on the presidents desk today. That the defunding planned parenthood hold not be taken out of this bill and even brought back in a greater than one year defunding. Father, You know if this bill in the long run will indeed bring this country back into fiscal responsibility. You know! Father, bind these representatives to Your will and to Your purposes. Bring a spirit of unity, wisdom a willingness to support the president and more important to be used by You to align this nation to ONE NATION UNDER GOD.

Senior increase in SS is being overlooked. Years of payment into it and no even receiving cost of living yearly has put them in struggling conditions while illegal aliens are being given 5k monthly from seniors dwindling SS supply.
Pray for adequate monthly increases for them.
