The University of Pennsylvania has agreed to apologize for allowing notorious male swimmer Lia Thomas to compete on a female swim team. The college has also promised to restore titles to female athletes that were misappropriated by males.

Breitbart has the story:

In a press release on Tuesday, the Department of EducationĀ announcedĀ that the university had entered into a ā€œResolution Agreement to comply with Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX).ā€

The Department of Education explained that UPenn would ā€œrestore to female athletes all individual UPenn Division I swimming records, titles, or similar recognitions which were misappropriated by male athletes allowed to compete in female categories.ā€

UPenn will also ā€œsend a personalized letter of apology to each impacted female swimmer,ā€ and ā€œissue a public statementā€ to the university’s community explaining that it will ā€œcomply with Title IXā€ and will not be allowing biological males to compete in women’s sports.

UPenn first achieved national infamy years ago when it allowed Lia Thomas, a transgender woman, to join its swim team. IFA covered Thomas, who proceeded to dominate the NCAA Women’s Championships.

UPenn’s latest move follows pressure from the Trump administration, especially the Department of Education (DoEd). Breitbart notes that the DoEd in March paused nearly $200 million in funding to UPenn over its trans policies. President Trump also signed an executive order in February to protect women’s sports.

Intercessors, this is an answer to our prayers. We have prayed about UPenn, Thomas, and the inclusion of men in women’s sports for years. Now the Lord is answering our prayers through the efforts of the Trump administration!

Father God, we thank You for hearing our prayers and restoring righteousness and fairness to our women’s athletics. We pray that more school administrators will have Devine discernment and implement Biblical principles to their policies and academic teachings. You said we are to give thanks in all things. We give thanks that this is being used to remove the scales off of eyes causing many to begin to view life through a Biblical lens. We praise You Lord and give You glory for Your goodness, Grace and faithfulness to Your Word.

We are thankful, Lord, for the reversal of these unGodly policies, allowing men to compete in women’s sports, even though the motive may be less than righteous. They can never truly restore what was stolen from the young women affected by these policies, however we ask that You minister to them and restore to them what the “locusts ate”. Help them to forgive, so that it does not continue stealing from them. May revival and awakening fires burn brightly across our campuses.

Father we praise You for this decision even though UPENN did it for the money. We intercede for these directors that they be part of a revival that will sweep that school !!!
In our savior Jesus name we pray … Hallelujah !!!
