President Donald Trump is reportedly limiting the sharing of classified information with Congress after CNN published details from a leaked preliminary Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) report assessing the aftermath of recent U.S. strikes on Iran that suggested the damage was minimal. While some Democrats have expressed outrage, others contend that such a move has long been overdue in light of leaks that influenced situations like the “Russiagate” probe and allegations of influence peddling surrounding Hunter Biden.
“We are declaring a war on leakers,” a senior White House official told Axios on Wednesday. “The intelligence community is figuring out how to tighten up their processes so we don’t have ‘Deep State’ actors leaking parts of intel analysis that have ‘low confidence’ to the media.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters on Thursday that the source of the leak is believed to be someone on Capitol Hill or within the intelligence community, though the FBI is still investigating the details.
The Daily Caller details the anger among Democrats over President Trump’s decision to limit the sharing of classified info. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, for example, accused the President of seeking to hide things, telling Axios, “This isn’t about national security — it’s about Trump’s insecurity. President Trump is cutting off intelligence to Congress, raising one clear question: what is he hiding?”
However, leaks are dangerous. Not only can they help our enemies, they can also put officials in danger. The leak of the Dobbs decision in 2022, for example, led to a months-long harassment campaign against Supreme Court justices, culminating in an attempted assassination.
It’s important to remember that none of this is ideal. President Trump likely doesn’t want to have to limit the sharing of information. He likely wants a Congress he can trust. Unfortunately, until the situation improves, the President has to take drastic measures.
This is where we come in as intercessors. Let’s pray that all leakers would be exposed, and let’s pray for the return of integrity and trust in Washington.

Dear Heavenly Father, Your Word is incorruptible and eternal, it is the truth on which we can rely. I pray You will strengthen the integrity of our current leaders and continue to raise up incorruptible men and women to serve…those who will proudly honor their oath of office and You. I pray laser like identification for all the leakers, the subverters, the corrupted….I pray it pleases You to continue to expose anything or anyone seeking to destroy the rule of law. You told me that I cannot ask too much of You but I can believe too little. I am asking for You to direct all Americans in truth and justice, I believe this (and so much more) is possible through the atoning sacrifice of Your Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen
Does this apply to Pete Hegseth as he ‘ leaked’ war plans to a journalist. Without the recent ‘leak’ we might have thought that the bombing of Iran was a great success instead of we don’t know yet and it may just be a nuisance to their nuclear energy program.
