As America challenges Iran, it’s important that we pray for our leaders, for protection, and against any potential retaliation. We know that Iran hates America, and Border Czar Tom Homan has warned of known terrorists and Iranian nationals who snuck into the U.S. under President Biden. Could these be part of sleeper cells? Considering the potential retaliation, we’d like to share the following information and prayer points written by Tania Curado-Koenig, an expert on the Middle East and a friend of IFA.

1. Military Escalation (PossiblyĀ within 24ā72 hours)
Iran could retaliate. This could happen in any or all of the following ways:
– Missile and drone attacks on Israel (especially Tel Aviv, Haifa, and military bases)
– Naval attacks on U.S. warships in the Persian Gulf or Red Sea
– Cyberattacks against U.S. infrastructure, power grids, or financial systems
– Terror proxy responses: Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, and militias in Iraq or Syria will almost certainly be activated.
This could be the largest regional confrontation since the Gulf War ā possibly triggering a broader Middle East war.
2. Geopolitical Realignment
Oil Markets:
– Crude oil could spike above $150/barrel if tankers are attacked in the Strait of Hormuz.
– Nations like Saudi Arabia and the UAE will be pressured to choose sides ā quietly supporting Israel and the U.S. or remaining neutral to protect energy and economic interests.
Russia and China:
– Both have warned against U.S. military action.
– If Iran is seen as a victim, expect open condemnation, more military exercises, and possibly arming Iran further.
– China could accelerate its push to replace the U.S. dollar in oil trade (Petroyuan) ā destabilizing financial systems globally.
Europe:
– Likely to call for ārestraintā while remaining functionally passive.
– May begin quiet evacuations of personnel from embassies in the region.
3. Spiritual Tension and Prophetic Window
This is a Daniel hour and an Esther call:
– The Prince of Persia is now fully stirred.
– Intercessors must arise immediately ā to push back spiritual retaliation and call for divine alignment in Israel and America.
Without serious repentance and alignment, further escalation could open the door to greater destruction ā even judgment.
Timeframe of Possible Events (Next 7 Days)
0ā48 hours | Iranian counterstrikes begin. Hezbollah and Houthis may launch rockets. Israel goes on full alert.
3ā5 days | Oil and shipping routes targeted. U.S. cyber infrastructure probed. Global markets react.
5ā7 days | UN emergency sessions. Middle East nations choose allegiances. Israeli unity government discussions intensify.
What This Means for You

– Declare Psalm 91 over Israel and the remnant Church.

Strategic Prayer Points
We pray against Iranian and proxy sleeper cells that may be embedded within the United States or targeting U.S. assets abroad.
We declare confusion in their communication, disruption of every plan, exposure of every hidden operative, and divine protection over innocent civilians, military installations, and national infrastructure.
Let every network be uprooted, every mole uncovered, and every scheme collapse under the weight of heavenās justice.
According to Job 5:12, āHe frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot carry out their plans.ā
Father, release angelic surveillance, supernatural discernment, and early warning to those tasked with protecting this land.

I stand in agreement with the above prayer points, Tania. The butterfly effect comes to mind, and I recognize that in our modern world the ramifications of any action can have far-reaching impacts – some of which we cannot foresee. I am thankful, YHVH, that You can see! Thank You for raising up intercessors and intercession to deal with even those things, as we listen and heed Your instruction. I pray that financing for worldwide terrorism would be disrupted and dried up – whatever its source. I pray that any sleeper cells, embedded in any nation – would remain asleep and be immobilized by Your intervention. I ask that repentance would fall upon the ekklesia, and that we would align with You – Your character, Your will, and Your purposes.
Lord we pray for confusion on the sleeper cells. They would not succeed in their wicked plans. We ask instead that youād wake up the sleeping church! Please let the Military, Law Enforcement and Special Forces find
and locate sleeper cells that have walked into our borders and
