Late last week, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed a bill to ban weather manipulation in his state, punishing those caught doing so with fines and prison time.

DeSantis signed Senate Bill 56, spearheaded by Sen. Ileana Garcia, R-Miami, which repeals current state law that allowed the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to issue permits to people or groups seeking to change the weather.

The new law tasks state environmental officials with creating a public portal for people to report claims of weather modification, and gives officials discretion to investigate those claims.

In addition, the law also requires publicly owned airports to report any planes that are equipped with weather modification or geoeningeering equipment to the Florida Department of Transportation.

The Times notes that any caught changing the weather under the new law “could face a third-degree felony, five years in prison and fines up to $100,000.”

Much of the discussion about the bill reportedly delved into talks of “chemtrails,” something that the Times refers to as a “debunked theory.” However, we know that that geoengineering plans, including chemtrails, are very real. As IFA Contributing Writer Angela Rodriguez put it in an article published late May, “geoengineering is happening, and the government must address it through legislation.”

Intercessor, this is an answer to our prayers. In fact, in the IFA article mentioned above, Rodriguez mentions Senate Bill 56, which was awaiting a signature at the time. Now, however, Florida has taken action to protect its skies. The Lord is listening!
