Today, we’re praying for worldwide peace along with intercessors around the globe. As we pray, IFA is helping to host a Global Day of Prayer for Peace webinar. We’ve also launched a companion prayer guide, which is linked at the bottom of this article. The following text is from a compact version of that prayer guide.
Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the Lord will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your risingĀ (Isaiah 60:1-3).
Praying for peace in the midst of conflict
In a world facing ongoing conflictsāwar in Ukraine, tensions in the Middle East, and rising global unrestāthe Church is called to intercede for peace. Join us on June 21, 2025, for a Global Day of Prayer for Peace, seeking Godās presence and wisdom for nations and leaders. Use this guide to pray during the event or as a framework for ongoing intercession. Pray for a powerful time of intercession, breaking spiritual strongholds and uniting the body of Christ (Eph 6:12).

Flashpoint: Israel and Iran
Iranās aggression through proxies like Hamas and Yemen, coupled with rising antisemitism, fuels conflict with Israel. As missiles fly and alliances shift, pray for Godās protection and peace.

Dear heavenly father, we humbly bow here before you we pray in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, that you will put the whole armor of God and hedge of protection around Israel and Jerusalem, we pray peace to the world that they will all come to know Jesus Christ as their savior in the mighty name of Jesus we pray and ask amen thank your fatheršš»š
Thank You Jesus for being with us during these difficult times. May they draw us nearer to You. We know that every thing has a purpose, hard times should draw us closer to You, to draw our strength from You, not the āworldā. Open our eyes and our arms/ hearts Jesus, that Your will be done.
Lord Jesus, I pray to You, the Prince of Peace. I pray that Your peace will reign in all the places in the world where violence and war are occuring, or could occur. I pray that You would revive us and bring all war and violence to an abrupt halt. You can use everything that is happening in our world today, and turn it for good. Thank you Jesus

I praise God for IFA and pulling together believers around the world. May the Lord hear our prayers and bring about revival in our land and indeed every land. We love you, father, and we praise you for what you are doing. You are on the throne and the only righteous ruler. In Jesus name, amen.
Father I thank you that you are in the center of it all, thank you that you hear us call out to you, thank you that you are not caught off guard and allow us, your children to partner with you bringing Heaven to Earth. I join my brothers and sisters asking that you give wisdom, protection and unity to leaders around the world. Let a spirit of peace reign over this earth with multitudes of salvations and miracles.
Father we know that You are in control of all things. Your ways are higher than ours and Your plans will be accomplished. But we pray for peace and we come against the spirit of lawlessness that Satan has unleashed around the world. Remind us that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against spiritual principalities and powers. Yet our heart’s desire is that all people might know You, Your grace and the peace that only You can bring to men’s hearts–bring a great revival to all nations and all peoples! In Jesus’ mighty power and Name.
We PRAY for a Spiritual Reawakening in the Country and for America’s men and women to STAND UP for our GOD given Biblical and Constitutional values and freedoms. May “We the People” come together in PRAYER to ask for the LORD’S Almighty help, and to peacefully use our time, talents, and treasures as we are being called, to STAND UP for our LORD!
Lord, we pray for an awakening – an awakening of righteousness and desire for peace for all people. May those who are filled with hatred understand that all people are of great value, that each person is so much more than ethnicity and country of origin. Take the scales off of blind eyes, Lord. Awaken a move of Your Spirit across this world that cannot be thwarted or stopped. Reveal Yourself to many who seek for truth. Comfort those who mourn, give eternal perspective to those who are spiritually blind. In the Name of Jesus, Amen.

Lord, we pray fri peace, unity and love all across our world. May your people intercede on behalf of the wars, unjust, evil regimes, and destruction. I pray for children living in these countries would not be anxious or traumatized but you would raise them up as warriors for you God. I pray for the light of Jesusās to shine so bright the darkness has to flee. In Jesus name!
