Just the News details some of the changes seen this year among businesses and corporations:
Despite this year marking the tenth anniversary ofĀ Obergefell v. Hodges, the Supreme Court case which legalized gay marriage, Pride events across the country are now facing funding shortfalls due to businesses and corporations scaling back or outright eliminating their sponsorship of such events.

Major brand names such as Mastercard, Citi, Pepsi, Nissan and PwC haveĀ pulled their sponsorshipĀ of NYC Pride, one of the largest Pride events in the world. Brands like Anheuser-Busch and Target have reduced their Pride sponsorships, citing economic concerns or backlash from conservative groups. This suggests corporations perceive a risk in identifying too closely with the movement, possibly reflecting fatigue among certain consumer bases.
Additionally, several sports teams are backing off of Pride Month celebrations as well:
As of the publication of this article, nine NFL (National Football League) teams have declined to issue Pride Month proclamations. The Texas Rangers baseball team have also not issued a proclamation regarding Pride. Many sports enterprises have used social media to post fairly generic “celebrations” of “pride”, but they are far less spendy than the in-person festivities and galas of years past. As for this year, NASCAR — the stock car racing body estimated to be worth at least $3 billion,Ā announced that they would post “Pride Month” messages on social media, butĀ may have even backed away from that.
Just the News mentions that these sports companies may have pulled back in response the backlash the Los Angeles Dodgers faced in 2023. The Dodgers came under fire for hosting the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a drag group known for mocking Christians, at a Pride Month event.
This move away from Pride Month celebrations and festivities comes as the President himself confirmed that the White House won’t issue any official proclamation honoring the month. In a political and a cultural sense, the nation is moving past the sin of pride. Praise God!
Let’s thank God for this. Let’s thank Him for changing hearts and for opening people’s eyes to the truth about sexuality and identity!

Yes I am very thankful for the action of not supporting Pride Month, I pray for the salvation of all who a caught in this life style,, may they come to. know Jesus as Savior and life changer. May we as a nation embrace Christ’s example of LOVE for one another, not at the cost of embracing a lifestyle we know is sinful in His eyes.. We as God’s people will be challenged to honor Him with a HOLY life. We can do it for He left us His HOLY SPIRIT.
Yes, I am encouraged that things are progressing to pushing back the whole gay pride thing. But the war is not over. We must keep the situation in prayer. If we are truly a country founded on Godly principles then it should NEVER have gotten to this point!!!! It’s harder to undo sin that to let it slide in. Homosexuality is not “gay” as the meaning of the word was created, it is also very detrimental to children as we have seen and it was the opening of the door to this awful transgender thing that is ungodly as can be!!! Please Lord Jesus, though we don’t deserve it, continue to give us grace until we can get our country back to where You want it, if that is possible before Your return.

May the Holy Spirit reveal the truth about homosexuality, transgender issues, Pride celebrations. To ALL the people involved in these issue. These our just lies of our enemy, Satan, who wants to take as many people to HELL, with him. But Jesus loves ā¤ļø every one, and the Holy Spirit, which is God’s spirit, reveals the truth. There can NOT be any sin in heaven, that is why Jesus died on the cross, PAID the price for our sin. And after a person receives Jesus as Lord and Savior, that person changes, because Jesus reveals His truth, and because that person, who ever, will hear , understand, love ā¤ļø Jesus and will obey, Jesus, die to self, and come under God’s authority. That person will be free, and HAPPY. So asking Jesus to do His will in each person. Amen

Yes, this is encouraging news. The whole issue needs to not be an issue in our nation. Lord Jesus, this is an offense to You and Your principles. I pray for Your will to prevail in the ending of this “Pride Month” abomination. Thank You Jesus.
We as a nation under God, cannot be supporting what is not Godly. Man was made for a woman and visa versa not any other way…for if it had been for the opposite it would have been ordained and to accept that is going against the Word. I pray God opens their eyes and let them know it is not of God but of the opposite of what God ordained. The lie from evil has to be revealed to those who accept this and live this way. No judgement from me but fear of what and how they are living and where it will lead them to. Exposure is what is happening to bring the Son into their lives. They just don’t realize how captive they have become. A sadness comes over me as they reject the very reason why Christ came to the cross and the rejection continues for their pleasure. The evil one will not prevail. I am glad that the White House will not recognize a special day for their lifestyle. IT IS AN ABOMINATION and one of the reasons for condemnation to your soul. As it says in Levitcus 18 Do not follow their practices.
You must obey my laws and be careful to follow my decrees. I am the LORD your God. The “do nots” are very explicit in this chapter. Either you honor God or honor evil. No other options.

This is wonderful news. Especially for Target whom I have boycotted for years now. I went back to shop a month ago and the store was bright, orderly and the customer service warm. Abba, You alone know the motivation(s) of those who are distancing themselves from open support of this abomination. It is possible that it is only recognition of how it might be detrimental to their pocketbooks to continue. I’m thankful to You for the end result, but not impressed by their actions. If they were truly people of righteousness and integrity they never would have supported it to begin with. Please reveal to us as Your people what is pleasing in Your sight in regard to “putting our money where our mouths are” – so that we don’t unwittingly invest in or support what is evil. I’m ready for a return to common sense businesses who simply provide quality services and/or goods, period!

The more we focus and celebrate on the fidelity of our relationship with You and Your plan for sacred relationship as You created and decreed them amongst us, Your created beings, may the unholy relationships of Satan loose their place in the public place.
