I Prayed have prayed
Lord we pray for safety at our border! Give our leaders wisdom on protecting our nation.

Tom Holman, former head of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) hit out at the 12 Republican senators who voted to terminate President Donald Trump’s national border emergency on March 14.“It’s a morale-killer for the Border Patrol and for ICE,” Homan told The Epoch Times. “I don’t think these 12 senators understand how important border security is to this country. They say they support border security, but their talk is talk, they need to walk the walk.”He challenged the 12 senators to “wear the uniform and stand on that border for a week, then come back and say a wall’s not needed.”

The 12 Republicans that joined all 47 Democrats to pass the measure are Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.), Sen. Susan Collins (R-Me.), Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), Sen. Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska), Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah), Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Sen. Patrick Toomey (R-Miss.), and Sen. Roger Wicker (R-Miss.).

Homan said Republicans in both the House and Senate have failed the president for the last two years.

“So once again, the president’s got to go out on his own. He’s going to veto this—which he should do,” he said.

Trump has said he would “100 percent” veto the resolution, which could then only be overridden by a two-thirds majority vote in both houses of Congress.

Trump declared the national emergency on Feb. 15, the same day that he signed a spending bill in which Congress failed to approve the full $5.7 billion he was requesting for more border wall. Instead, Congress approved just less than $1.4 billion.

Through the national emergency, Trump could free up more than $8 billion in funding from other sources, such as the Department of Defense and the U.S. Treasury to allocate to around 700 miles of border fencing.

Homan said he keeps going back to the national emergency that former President Barack Obama declared on swine flu in 2009, when just over 12,000 people died.

“Over 70,000 people have died from drug overdoses, from fentanyl coming across that southern border. So if 12,000 is a national emergency, why isn’t 70,000?” Homan said. More than 71,500 Americans died of a drug overdose in 2017, with at least 68 percent of those deaths attributed to opioids, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

In the past six months, Border Patrol apprehensions on the southern border have reached twice what they were in all of fiscal year 2017. In February alone, 66,000 people were apprehended crossing the border illegally, with another 10,000 presenting without documentation at ports of entry. . . .

“The Democratic leadership in the House, didn’t want to support the border wall at all, the border barrier. So the president is doing what he can to secure our nation,” Homan said. “He’s doing his job to try to protect the American people, so if that means he’s got to go against Congress [then] God bless him for it.”

Open the eyes of all the 12 senate members dear Father and show them the importance of our security. I live in a border state to know the dangers of unlawful illegals and there are hundreds upon hundreds of cases of crimes committed by illegal criminals who have invaded this country. Dear Father God I ask that you remove those who do not care about Americans safety, they will have to give an account whatever it may take dear Lord, I trust that you will do it. Father please give “We the People” the wisdom to stand and make our voices heard in all of this. Help us to stand for your righteousness and justice. I pray with your mighty hand that you will take care of this situation for our President. Lord Jesus be with all of us.

Father, We come before You seeking Your will & Your way for the borders of our country to be protected. We need Your wisdom to guide our leaders. The drug trafficking and sex trafficking coming across our border has harmed & killed too many people already. Many of the women & children who come here in the large caravans have also been abused. Father, help the USA know what to do to protect our borders and those who work at the borders. Our border patrol officers have to be willing to face danger daily. That must be very stressful for them and their families. We ask for divine protection for every one working at the border.
Thank You for Pres. Trump taking a strong stand to protect our nation. I believe You have put him in office for such a time as this. Just like David who went forth to kill the giant Goliath, Pres. Trump has taken a strong stand even though many have ridiculed him, mocked him, & threatened him with impeachment. Father, we ask for Your divine protection for him and his family as they seek to do Your will. We praise You for the Christian men and women who are willing to serve as leaders in the USA. We ask for divine protection & wisdom for all of them too.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen

Dear Lord, have mercy on us as a nation. Please strengthen every ICE agent and every border agent with Your strength and resolve, as well as President Trump.
May Your will prevail in all matters. Clearly it is not Your will for lawless entry into our nation. Bring Your wisdom and justice to bear upon every person who may influence the outcome of our national security. Clearly we are under attack by those who disregard our laws and seek to bring evil into our land. Please move supernaturally beyond the wisdom of broken men and women to change the hearts of those in our nation to seek You and to follow You and submit their natural thinking that seems right to a man, in exchange for Your wisdom and truth!

Thank you Lord for clarity on the border issue. Republicans in Congress voting against border security do not represent their voters. Since they lie about immigration and social issues to get elected, they do not represent you either. Voters henceforth should act accordingly. The duty of voters is becoming quite clear so there will be no excuses in 2020 and beyond.
