U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee is calling on the New York Times, CNN, and the Associated Press to retract false reports about Israeli soldiers in Gaza.

Breitbart details the lies told by terrorists and amplified by American media:
As Breitbart News reported, Hamas had claimed falsely that Israeli soldiers had killed dozens of Palestinian civilians near an aid site run by the Trump administration-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF).
Hamas, which regularly lies about casualty figures through its “Gaza health ministry,” has a particularly strong incentive to discredit the GHF, which gives aid directly to Palestinians, and without charging them.

When Hamas made its sensational claim of mass murder on Sunday, mainstream media outlets in the West — which operate, presumably, without fear of censorship — simply repeated it without waiting for verification.
Breitbart notes that these news outlets did later update their headlines to reflect the truth, but they did not issue formal apologies or retractions.
Ambassador Huckabee, meanwhile, is demanding former retractions, accusing these outlets of contributing to an “antisemitic climate” in America and calling on them to “cover actual events instead of being a partner of terrorism by blindly following Hamas news releases.”
Ambassador Huckabee also tied these lies to the recent antisemitic attacks in D.C. in Colorado. He blamed these attacks on the “antisemitic climate” fostered by the lies told by Hamas and amplified by the mainstream media.
This is a helpful reminder for us intercessors to stay diligent. As lies are spread, let’s make sure that we are fact checking the news we consume, and let’s pray for the truth to cut through all lies about Israel!

Father, who art in heaven, I lift up the nation of Israel to you. You chose the nation of Israel and promised Israel you would be her GOD. I thank you for your care and watch over this nation through the centuries. I pray your hand will continue to keep the land and her people safe. Because you chose Israel to be your favored nation I pray the news media would report fairly and accurately on any news pertaining to Israel, Hamas, war and the hostages.
