On Thursday, Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. released the highly anticipated MAHA Commission report, shedding light on the many causes of chronic illness in our nation.
Who is praying on the wall?
The Daily Wire has the report:
On nutrition, the report notes Americans’ reliance on ultra-processed foods, which it says leads to “nutrient depletion, increased caloric intake, and exposure to harmful additives.” The report found that 70% of children’s calories now come from ultra-processed foods, contributing to chronic conditions.
On environmental chemicals, the report says children are being “exposed to an increasing number of synthetic chemicals, some of which have been linked to developmental issues and chronic disease.”
Specifically, when it comes to pesticides, the report’s authors order a study on the chemicals by next year, but it also tires to quell fears of quick regulatory action. Notably, some Republicans have expressed concern about action on pesticides because of how it might impact farmers.
Several other issues were mentioned, such as excessive screen time, sleep deprivation, chronic stress, over-medicalization, and vaccines. You can read the full 68-page report here.

Secretary Kennedy is tasked with creating a “strategy based on these findings to tackle the chronic disease crisis” over the next 80 days, according to The Daily Wire. Let’s pray God gives him wisdom as he works to make America healthy again!

Thank You, YHVH, for Secretary Kennedy’s tireless effort on our behalf, and on behalf of our children to address the chronic health conditions in our nation. May the strategies provide impetus for better personal choices, for improved food products, for support for farmers to fairly compete in the market, for the medical community to be more wholistic and less pharmaceutical, etc. – but not to so over-regulate as to become a tyranny of opinions. May we each have Your wisdom, Lord, to walk in wholeness – an aspect of ‘shalom’ you desire to provide.
