From Fox News:
Rep. Shri Thanedar, D-Mich., aimed to force a vote on his seven articles of impeachment against Trump this week through a mechanism known as a privileged resolution that forces the House to reckon with a piece of legislation within two days of being in session.
…
Thanedar laterĀ announced on XĀ he would back off trying to force the vote.
Rep. Thanedar faced backlash from many of his fellow Democrats upon introducing his impeachment efforts. Progressive Representatives Pete Aguilar and Greg Casar called the measure a “distraction” and “unserious” respectively.
Rep. Thanedar announced in a post on X that he is not abandoning the effort altogether, however. From Fox:
Thanedar said in a statement on X afterward, “In the fifteen days since I filed seven articles of impeachment against President Trump, he has committed more impeachable offenses, most dangerously, accepting a $400 million private jet from Qatar, which even Republican Members of Congress have called wrong.
“So, after talking with many colleagues, I have decided not to force a vote on impeachment today. Instead, I will add to my articles of impeachment and continue to rally the support of both Democrats and Republicans to defend the Constitution with me.”
In his first term in office, President Trump was impeached twice, although the Senate failed to convict him in both cases. Although Representative Thanedar has failed for now, only time will tell if President Trump will become the first president to be impeached 3 times.
For the time being, let’s continue to pray. Let’s thank God for the failure of this impeachment effort and pray that all future efforts to unfairly attack our President meet the same fate!

Father God, we pray that whatever Rep. Thanedar and any other politician tries to do, let IT HAPPEN TO THEM INSTEAD, in Jesus’s name, amen.
Thank you Father for answering the prayers from your Michigan IFA intercessors of whom I am one. I kept getting emails from Rep. Thanedar to go to meeting here in the Detroit area but I responded by telling him and his staff, that as a Hispanic member of Rep. Thanedar district, I support President Trump.
I pray that more intercessors respond to their Representatives and Senators and tell them that we support our President. I believe when the church stands up and boldly proclaim what are stand is. That these left leaning congressman will back off.
Thank you again for answering this prayer. In Jesus’ name.
Where does Saudi Arabia stand with Israel, with Hamas? If they are pro-Israel and actively against Hamas, I see no problem because I from what I understand, we need a new plane for the President’s travels.
