“True to their word”??? This naivety needs to stop. Islam (Houthis) is based on the destruction of the infidel world which includes the west. Israel seems to be the only nation that truly understands this. Lord, we ask you to tear down the principality of Islam and raise up the cross of Jesus Christ. Unveil the eyes of those blinded and held in bondage to this evil spirit of Islam.

There is the sense that bullies are really scared. Why? Because they know that their thugery is not right, but they are going to keep on until someone brave enough calls their hand and gets their number. The Houthies have continued to bully whomever they can, but the U.S. military, with their top of the line technology, has said enough by clobbering them again and again. I do not understand why they would have continued in their bully ways until recently, but their country being bombed to death FINALLY brought them to say enough themselves.

There is such a thing as misplaced trust, and it’s possible that this situation is replete with misplaced trust. First and foremost, the only One worthy of unquestioned trust is YHVH. NO human being is worthy of unquestioned trust. How many presidents have wanted to bear the title, “He who brought peace to the middle east”? How many have failed, because they have attempted to do so at Israel’s expense? And how many times have Americans experienced collateral damage because our presidents have (as another commenter has stated) “thrown Israel to the curb” and made unilateral demands of Israel? Demands to give up land, demands to tolerate constant terrorist attacks from within and from without, demands to tolerate Jew-hatred and violence worldwide – all for the sake of a “peace” that cannot last because the primary demand of Islam is the demand that they cease to exist. And the desire of Israel is so great for peace that they have continued to capitulate time after time to many of these demands. October 7 and the current situation in Gaza is a direct result of one of those times. Perhaps it is time for Israel to learn the lesson they often failed to learn in ancient times when attacked by an enemy – NO human being (or government, or army, or defense system, or . . . ) is worthy of unquestioned trust – TRUST YHVH and OBEY YHVH!

We have been praying and interceding from Psalm 1 & 2 about this situation.

How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don’t stand on the way of sinners or sit where scoffers sit!Ā
Their delight is in Adonai’s Torah; on his Torah they meditate day and night.Ā
They are like trees planted by streams—they bear their fruit in season, their leaves never wither, everything they do succeeds.Ā
Not so the wicked, who are like chaff driven by the wind.Ā
For this reason the wicked won’t stand up to the judgment, nor will sinners at the gathering of the righteous.Ā
For YHVH watches over the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked is doomed.
Why are the nations in an uproar, the peoples grumbling in vain?Ā
The earth’s kings are taking positions, leaders conspiring together, against YHVH and his anointed.Ā
They cry, “Let’s break their fetters! Let’s throw off their chains!”Ā
He who sits in heaven laughs; YHVH looks at them in derision.Ā
Then in his anger he rebukes them, terrifies them in his fury.Ā
“I myself have installed my king on Tziyon, my holy mountain.”Ā
“I will proclaim the decree: YHVH said to me, ‘You are my son; today I became your father.Ā
Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance; the whole wide world will be your possession.Ā
You will break them with an iron rod, shatter them like a clay pot.’ ”Ā
Therefore, kings, be wise; be warned, you judges of the earth.Ā
Serve YHVH with fear; rejoice, but with trembling.Ā
Kiss the son [or: Kiss purely], lest he be angry, and you perish along the way, when suddenly his anger blazes. How blessed are all who take refuge in him.Ā

May President Trump reject the advice of the wicked, and refuse fellowship with sinners and scoffers. May he delight in Torah, and in YHVH’s instruction. May he not subject himself or our nation to YHVH’s rebuke, or the terror of His fury, by conspiring against YHVH or His Anointed, Yeshua. May he bow in humility, serve YHVH with fear and trembling, and kiss the Son. That is a place of refuge and blessing.

Does the USA get any appreciation for the massive amounts of military support we’ve given Israel. We have sent huge numbers of bombs, ammo. etc. and two Aircraft Carrier strike groups (each armed with more firepower than most entire Nations) to defend Israel and bring Iran to heel. I believe our faithful Father and God will greatly bless us for this going forward

Lord Jesus, we know that President Trump wants to do the right thing in your sight. We also know that the Faith Room of the Whitehouse is used call down Your wisdom into making the very perplex decisions in national security and foreign relations.
You Ways Lord, are so much higher than ours. Help us to trust President Trump and his advisors in making this decision which our gut feeling tells us “never trust the word of a Muslim Terror group”. The infidels, as they call true believers in Christ, are not subject to their false god Allah, therefore can be lied to, murdered or abused as they see fit.
Guide our leaders Lord! Fill our hearts with the fruit of the spirit. Amen

Trump believes the Houthis!
What next? Will he also believe that Iran’s leaders actually do not want to destroy Israel and America – or as they call us the little and the big Satan?
Who is advising the American president.
Who is deceiving him when it comes to how Middle Eastern Arabs/Muslims really think?
This is very dangerous to Israel – who by the way, the Houthis said they will continue to shoot missiles at – and if it is dangerous for Israel then it is doubly dangerous for America.
How often is God furious with Israelis “broken reed” allies in Scripture?
Please brothers and sisters in the US, Trump needs much prayer to not put America first so much that he kicks Israel to the curb.

President Trump’s ways are not always what we believe them to be. He, above many elected officials, knows not to trust the enemy. I assure you he does not. Just continue to pray for him, for his administration and for those who are a threat to Israel and America. God is in control and we pray for His will to be done.

Lord Jesus, I pray that you give President Trump the guidance and wisdom that he so needs in this situation. He so wants to bring peace to the Middle East, which is understandable. Any peace in this region, especially in regards to Israel ,is temporary at best, until the return of the Prince of Peace. Then, and only then, will peace reign. Until then, Lord, I pray for Your will to be done for the peace and well-being of Israel. Thank you Jesus.

These wannabe international warriors see their little worlds as Maximum value only to watch it obliterate in moments by Industrialized nations. Maybe they will grow a brain.

The Houthis have declared that they will no longer target American ships but will continue to target ships towards Israel and send missiles towards Israel, for me this is not a victory but a surrender.
